. We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. The village is lovely and friendly, we visited both pubs and got speaking to a few locals. Would love to visit again.

  • "Absolutely fantastic cottage cosy and spotless, decor tasteful and welcoming felt like a home away from home, the welcome basket a delightful surprise, local biscuits, crisps even a nice bottle of red wine, hot chocolate and coffee pods for the tassimo coffee machine, what a lovely touch."

There should have been 3 of us and a fury friend on this trip, but unfortunately our daughter and the dog owner wasn’t well, so just my husband and myself in the end. Our Niece and her family live a few doors down on Skipton Road so the trip was to see in the new year with them at her house and the location was perfect 2 min walk, We love Embsay visiting a couple of times a year, so we’ll definitely be back to No4.if it’s available we loved it. A little tip for the owner and this is absolutely not a complaint, I would have massages them directly but couldn’t find any contact details for them sorry, we found the mattress on the kingsize bed a bit firm for our taste, maybe a mattress topper or even a spare quilt to lie on, stowed in the single bedroom large cupboard would be helpful for delicate souls like ourselves ;-) Hopefully see you soon no4 Embsay Clare and Stuart

Hello Clare, Thank you so very much for the lovely feedback! We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the suggestion regarding the mattress topper, we will certainly look into it. Kind regards Nadine Property Owner
