  • "The cottage was so comfortable and homely with well thought out decor throughout."

It was perfect for us and with those stunning views we just had the most wonderful week! Perfect

  • "Beautiful cottage, we really didn’t want to leave."

The sea is literally feet away, the views are absolutely stunning. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. As has been said before the check in and out times are not very friendly and an extra hour at either end would have been great. A lovely relaxing stay, we would love to return.

  • "Had a great 3 night stay in Partan Cottage."

Absolutely loved listening to the waves outside. Cottage cosy and very comfy beds. Owner very helpful post and pre stay. Only little negative was couldnt find a hair dryer or any extra black bin liners. Would love to come and stay again some time and would definitely recommend to others.

  • "Super stay that had to cut short due to a family matter."

Super cottage kept immaculately. Amazing for wildlife watching: grey seals, Eider ducks, great northern divers and gannets right outside the front door. Would have appreciated more info about the area, perhaps a visitors book for tips and ideas, and clear markings on the bins as had no idea which was mine because none were marked. I feel the 5pm check in is far far too late - a whole day gone, especially in winter, and would urge the owners to consider bringing this forward.

  • "Fantastic cottage in an amazing setting."

We had a wonderful few days, would have loved to stay longer. Cottage is clean and well equipped and incredibly peaceful. Our only issue was the check in and out times, an hour on each would make a big difference. However, we can’t wait to come back another time.

  • "Second time we've stayed there and still impossible to work the TV."

No information regarding this in the folder. Otherwise a perfect cottage for a peaceful stay.

  • "Amazing stay with beautiful scenery and overall a clean, stunning cottage."

The beds were very comfy with lovely bedding and the views were fantastic. A couple of points to overall improve the experience - the check in and check out times are pretty unreasonable, and you cannot have a stand up shower due to the sloping ceiling (bath was amazing, but this could be a problem for some). A note for dog owners there are a lot of ticks in the back garden (obviously cannot be helped but just one to be prepared for). Also - much easier to follow the road access from the other path (instead of the private access marked road).

  • "Good property, great location."

Attention to detail really shown through the property. Open plan lounge/kitchen big plus. Bathroom superb. Only minus points were 9:30 check-out and 5pm check- in. Also parking should be marked off to stop other residents taking your allocated space. This was resolved but totally avoidable. Who wants to see their cars from your window!!.

  • "Partan Cottage and the surroundings were incredibly beautiful."

The cottage itself was extremely clean, tidy, well kept and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only challenge we found was the difficulty of speaking with someone regarding questions regarding stay changes. Otherwise all went perfectly!

  • "Lovely comfortable cottage in an idyllic location."

Absolutely gorgeous. But a surprising lack of information about the cottage, its equipment, and the area. And the information about what to do with rubbish was inaccurate - there are no bins marked 6 Partenhall in the specified location. There were no manuals for the equipment and no visitors’ book which might have useful recommendations from previous guests. And despite there being 12 dining plates there were only 3 dessert/cereal bowls and no casserole dish. There were only 2 dishwasher tablets and no spare bin bags.

  • "We absolutely loved the cottage."

On arrival, it was warm, which was most welcome on a very cold and windy day, and spotlessly clean. It was also a lovely surprise to find a bottle of red wine to enjoy with our evening meal. Thank you. I would recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the beautiful area. There was only one thing that would make the stay better and that is having a shower rather than a bath. It was a struggle to get in and out of the bath.

  • "The property was beautiful I would highly recommend it."

.only one thing I'd say for the cost I think check in 1730 and check put 0930 is both late and too early on reflection of what you pay.

Fixtures and fittings of a very high standard. Worth staying here for the sunrises alone, amazing and different each day. Would move in tomorrow if I could.
