• "The property was amazing."

  We loved the house and there were different areas for family to play board games, sit and read or eat. We were a three generation family enjoying a lovely Easter break. We took advantage of the swimming pool access and took our seven year old granddaughter swimming twice when it was a wet day.

• "We had a wonderful stay at Muscle Shoals."

  It was very cosy and comfortable. The bedding and towels were high quality. The location was fab as just a short stroll to the beach and the pub and the area was quiet. The house had great facilities and was well equipped. The conservatory got lots of sunshine in the afternoon which was lovely and it was great to have a designated parking space too. We will definitely be back!

  This was our first stay at muscle shoals and it won’t be our last , the property is done to a high standard , beds was very comfortable which is a bonus , very well laid out and it had everything needed for a family holiday , very spacious cosy and warm as it was December , beautiful home One recommendation is to have a 4 slice toaster for the bigger family

• "We loved our stay at Muscle Shoals and can’t wait to return!"

  Location in Seahouses is perfect! Easy access to the beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants. House exceeded expectations. Loved that we could be in the harbour in minutes, pop out to buy fresh fish or walk along to the Black Swan pub, a few metres from the doorstep!

• "Absolutely beautiful cottage."

  This cottage couldn't have given us anymore than the owners have provided, we have just come back from Muscle Sholes from a week away with friends, the fishing harbour is literally a 2 minute walk away from the front door, lots of local pubs and shops to explore. This is a great location for the beach which stretches for miles and is only a 10 minute walk away. Anyone that chooses to stay here will not be disappointed we certainly weren't

• "We found the property to be as we hoped for and the gifts left were lovely."

  The location is superb with easy walking distance to Restaurants, Town, Harbour and beach walks. The kitchen/dining area is brilliant, but the seating for relaxing in the lounge was a bit of a struggle for 4 adults and 2 children. It is only a minor issue as there are enough seats but not positioned well if you want to watch TV in the evening. (for anyone thinking just move the seats, it is not possible due to design} Everything else was brilliant and the amount of crockery was unbelievable,,,,in a good way (lots of it) We would like to thank the owners as it does appear that they have thought out well what is required for their guests. We had a lovely week. Thank You

• "Another fab stay at muscle shoals, they had literally thought of everything you might need."

  Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Will defo be back. Only issues we had were the upstairs toilet seat was broken and kept coming off and also the king Suze bed had not been made into a twin as requested. All in all a lovely weekend away!

• "The house was beautiful and comfortable and had all the facilities."

  We did find that the loo seat was broken on arrival and the microwave stopped working , these were reported but unfortunately no one came to fix them whilst we were there. Lovely area to explore and we have booked again for next year .

• "A wonderful cottage, perfectly situated in the older part of Seahouses which means it is close enough to the facilities - two minutes stroll to the harbour - and far enough away to be completely peaceful."

  The cottage itself is beautifully kitted out to a very high standard. The garden is a glorious little suntrap. I honestly can't fault any of it one bit. The highest recommendation I can give is that we will be rebooking as we loved it so much

• "We stayed in the cottage for a week, it’s vary spacious and modern with comfortable beds and a secure back garden which our dog loved."

  The location is brilliant within walking distance of the harbour and shops. Lots of nice walks to do locally. The kitchen has everything you need but lacks utensils for dishing out a meal, loved the utility room! Very nice welcome pack on arrival too. We visited; Bamburgh Castle, National trust Craigside house, Holy Island with Billyshields boat trips and Alnwick gardens. Watching the sunset from the harbour is lovely too.

• "Could do with manuals on how facilities work, eg microwave as it didn't appear to be working correctly."

  Also we felt the water was very hot and it could be turned down slightly.

• "What a beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable furnishings."

  Very spacious and a great garden for the dogs too. Really well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. In a very central location but very quiet and peaceful at the same time. The boot room is great for storing shoes and bags and great that it has access from the street so you can offload everything without traipsing through the rest of the house first, couldn’t fault any aspect of it, a very lucky find, thank you.

• "We had the best week at Muscle Shoals."

  A lovely, warm and comfortable property with interesting decor details. Ideally placed for visiting e.g. Bamburgh, Beadnell, Low Newton-by-the-Sea, Alnwick, Craster (crab sandwiches!) and Holy Island. We recommend just around the corner The Black Swan for food, cocktails and atmosphere. 5-10 mins away for the Co-op and for takeaways -Indian Brasserie and Seahouses Chinese takeaway. Also ideally placed for the seafront 5 mins away. At night, walk along the front by the caravan park for some amazing views of the stars, simply breath taking. We certainly recommend this property and would stay again.

• "One of the loveliest properties we’ve ever stayed in."

• "A beautiful cottage in the heart of Seahouses!"

  We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage had everything we required for a short family break. It is beautifully decorated and very well thought out to create a cosy and relaxing stay. Great garden area which was fab for the dogs and will be great in the summer months. We definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!

• "This is a really lovely property and felt like the pictures didn't do it justice."

  We were a family of 4 with 2 sets of grandparents and it worked really well for us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. It's in a great location and can easily walk into the town centre.

• "Beautiful cottage."

  Every thing you would need for a self catering break. The owners have definitely given a lot of thought into the decoration and comfort to make a very welcoming cottage. We were a three generation family and we all had plenty of room to spread around. The kitchen was well laid out for ease of use. Beds very comfortable. Couldn’t fault anything . We will definitely be back at some time. Many thanks to the owners and letting agents.

• "A wonderful property with lots of character without being cluttered."

  Very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Great location in seahouses. Great place to stay with the dog, having a utility to make sure he was clean before going in the house was a bonus. Would definately stay again.
