  Very clean and the little extras such as tea, coffee, milk, etc for an arrival cuppa made such a difference. We will definitely be returning.

• "Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very clean and tidy property that had more than enough household amenities to make our weeks holiday away, more enjoyable."

  For two people and a dog, there was more than enough room, and was an ideal base to return to after a good days walk. We definitely hope to return!

  The property was very well equipped - you didn't need to take anything with you. Toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, kitchen utensils all supplied. We were mightly impressed with the cottage and would highly recommend using Sykes Cottages again. P Iredale

  It was comfortable, cosy and easy to heat. The owner showed great care with furnishings and added many little touches to ensure the comfort of our stay. This is a property we would recommend.

  Lynn the owner is very helpful with any questions you may have. The location is good being near the village centre with church,pubs, shop and bus stops nearby. The various inlets and beaches are within easy walking distance.

  Compact but had everything you could possibly need while you’re away. Great location - we went from St Abbs to Amble and everywhere in between. Great week!

  Close to sandy beaches, easy walk to shop and pub. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Very dog-friendly area where we could take our dog to the pub, the beach and most local attractions. Would highly recommend the area, the cottage and the local guided walks.
