    All the needed facilities for a couple though some would miss a dishwasher and washing machine. Not a problem for us for a week. Great location for Northumberland beaches. Very friendly pub a few miles away with good food

    We loved watching the horses coming and going. The apartment was perfect for us, spacious, warm and comfortable. Its location couldn't be better for exploring the coastal villages and beaches.

  • "We feel that the property would have benefited from having a washing/ drier Our stay was enjoyable and those were visiting the livery yard friendly The only down side being forced to drive through two tight gates and a field by an inconsiderate horse box user who blocked the main entrance to the granary We will though recommend the property because its location is superb tucked out of the way but not far from beautiful beaches."

    The photographs don’t really do it justice! It is spacious and very well equipped and was lovely and cosy. The setting is tranquil but there are excellent eating places and beaches close by. For anyone who loves horses there are stables in the yard below and horses in the surrounding fields!

    Outside there are hares and stoats running around in the fields which hold beautiful horses, which you can hear at night whinnying and clomping about in the loose boxes beneath the bedroom. Heaven!

NEWTON-BY-THE-SEA

The small coastal village of Newton is situated on Northumberland's Heritage Coastline between the popular fishing villages of Craster, famous for its kippers, and Beadnell. Beadnell Bay offers excellent sandy beaches and there are spectacular coastal paths with wonderful scenery. The village has a pub which serves food and the historic town of Alnwick is only a short drive away.
