  • "We have stayed at this flat before and it has never failed to live up to expectations."

The flat is centrally located and walkable to shops and the beach. It is terrific that there is a parking space available as parking in town can be expensive and challenging. The flat has everything you would need. We have previously stayed for a week and as long as 5 weeks. The flat is cosy, warm and stylish. There is ample space in the spare room. The host is responsive and has sorted things when needed. We would highly recommend. Would stay there again should we holiday in Whitley Bay again.

  • "The apartment was perfect for us."

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished and in a brilliant location close to the shops and the beach. Judy was a helpful and kind host, offering to put lights on for us when we advised we’d be very late arriving and leaving us food and drink gifts which we really appreciated. We are delighted to find this apartment and we will be booking again.

  • "Perfect, perfect, perfect."

Located 2 mins from practically everything. Great parking spot, very clean, very comfortable and the facilities were top notch. As was the host Judy, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with, answering any queries we had very promptly. We were 5 middle aged women staying there for the Great North Run. So comfort was essential for the run and it gave us that in abundance. 100% we would all stay again.

Thank you. Sorry didn't have a bath for you though. Hopefully you won't get rain next year! Regards Judy Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Marden Mews."

The property is very comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need for your stay, including lots of thoughtful extras provided by the host, Judy, who was only a phone call away if you had any enquiries. The smart TV outsmarted us, but we were blessed with such glorious weather that we were out most of the time. Whitley Bay and the surrounding area has some stunning scenery, and we have enjoyed some lovely walks with our little dog. We highly recommend Marden Mews, and would love to come back. Thanks again Judy.

So glad you had a nice time. Thanks for your lovely review and hopefully I will see you and your lovely little dog again. Regards Judy Property Owner

It really is in the heart of the town centre and a very easy walk to the beautiful beaches, also the benefit of your own parking space is fantastic. We had excellent communication from Judy the owner throughout and felt if there had been any issues she would have been swift to act. A lovely starter pack of basic foods and a bottle of sparkling wine was so very kind. You would not be disappointed booking with Judy we highly recommend this flat if you are visiting the area. We most definitely plan to return. Thanks again to Judy.

  • "This property was great for our needs."

Right in the centre of town, great for the many pavement cafes, restaurants and pubs. Private parking which is a great bonus. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, well equipped with plenty of space. A great place to chill out and it felt like a home from home. The only niggle we had were the Tv's. These are smart Tv's and work from various Ap's using the internet. We're old school (60's), and prefer a Tv connected to an aerial. That said, it didn't spoil our holiday.

Thank you for your feedback. My cleaner said you can come back anytime you left place immaculate. Sorry about the TV it was so hard to get it set up I do understand these smart TVs are difficult to work it is possible to get normal TV on it just takes time to work it out unfortunately. Bring a 5yr old next time they can do it straight away ha ha hope it didn't spoil your stay and hopefully see you again. Regards Judy Property Owner

The town has much to offer the tourists, including quaint independent shops, fun-filled arcades as well as the local attraction, Spanish City, a remarkable dining and leisure centre, originally built in 1910 as a concert hall and painted to look like a Spanish village. Indulge in fish and chips with a walk along the promenade, finishing with a visit to Di Meos, voted Whitley Bays best ice cream parlour. Further afield is the bustling University city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, host to an array of pubs, bars and restaurants as well as an excellent shopping centre and walks along the Quayside on the banks of the River Tyne.
