There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick. Northumberland’s beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only a short drive away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.

We booked the cottage very last minute - as in the day we arrived! We were delighted with the cottage. It was in excellent condition and the furnishings and decor were lovely, it has obviously been very well looked after. Our 2 girls loved the garden even in the rain, especially the cows in the next field. The village is lovely.
