  • "This is by far the worst welcome of a property that I have booked through Sykes."

In the evening we had to re pressurise the boiler as there was no water in it. Our meal for 6 adults meant two had to drink wine from tumblers as only 4 wine glasses! Only 7 mugs for 6 people for a weekend- no use for a dishwasher unless you wait 2 hours for your next cuppa! No rack in the oven- only one Ill fitting grill tray. Also only one red chopping board with one large knife. No where to set anything hot. Someone else had this issue too as one of the placements were warped. A fantastic hot tub, but not one peg in the bathrooms for one never mind 6 wet towels and swimsuits. Did find a clothes horse for two towels though! All in all a fab location and potentially a lovely lodge, but so poorly thought out. Don’t let people book for 6 adults only because it has 6 beds- all with waterproof sheets on too- that rustle and make you sweat. Also contacted Sykes with questions twice that they put to the park, but they got no response. I contacted Haufryn direct, but they never got back to me either. Pretty poor to be honest, and embarrassed that I recommended Sykes to my friends!

  • "We had a wonderful stay."

The lodge was spotlessly clean and extremely modern and high quality. The location meant we could go out all day every day with the children keeping them entertained. We will be back for sure!

  • "I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at 44 Delamere point."

The Lodge is first rate, with excellent facilities, the lodge was clean and well presented. The park was quiet, mainly due the weather and time of year but nonetheless a beautiful spot. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area making it an excellent location for getting out and entertaining the Children.
