    “From the outside it's not beautiful ...”
    From the outside it's not beautiful to the eye. But once inside the apartment is stunning and in a fantastic location. There were 8 adults staying for a 50th birthday celebration weekend. We lived comfortably with out feeling that we were on top of each other. The rooms were beautifully decorated with high quality furniture, bedding etc. I have never used Syke's cottages before but if this is the standard I would definitely use them again and cannot wait to stay in this apartment again ...

Eagle Parade Apartments

Three superb apartments set in a grand Victorian parade in the heart of Buxton in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The apartments offer high-quality accommodation for a small family or group of friends and are within easy walking distance of the popular spa town of Buxton. The apartments have their own grand entrance and the floors are laid in marble and granite tiles accompanied by crystal light fittings and a sofa to relax on. These central Buxton apartments are within easy reach of a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Why not visit the Buxton Opera House and take a stroll through the Pavilion Gardens, while the spectacular Devonshire Dome is a must-visit. Excellent walks can be enjoyed over Rushup Moor whilst taking in the stunning surrounding countryside and cyclists can take advantage of the Tissington Trail, which is a traffic-free trail ideal also for horse riders and walkers. The historic houses of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth and the lovely market towns of Bakewell, Ashbourne and Matlock are all within easy driving distance, making these splendid holiday apartments the perfect place for exploring Buxton and the Peak District National Park any time of the year. This spacious apartment offers high-quality accommodation for a family or group of friends within walking distance of all of the town’s amenities.

The four tastefully decorated bedrooms are flooded with natural light from the large Victorian windows, and there's an impressive family bathroom featuring a luxurious lagoon bath and separate walk-in shower.

A beautiful, modern kitchen/diner provides everything for a big family breakfast of banquet, perhaps with fresh produce from Buxton Market which is right outside the foyer!

After dinner, flop into the big luxurious sofas and catch up with friends or gather to watch a blockbuster on the big screen.

This superb apartment offers wheelchair accessibility and the lift to all floors is also wheelchair friendly.

About the location

BUXTON

Tideswell 7 miles; Bakewell 12 miles; Matlock 21 miles.

It was the constant 28 degrees centigrade of the bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs that originally attracted the Romans to the town. However it was during the 18th and 19th centuries, under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire, that the Palladian splendour of the Buxton of today was designed and built - including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House. Today visitors continue to enjoy these magnificent buildings and gardens, as well as the Opera House's full programme and annual festivals of music and arts. There is good walking close by with rugged peaks to the north and gentle hills and dales to the south and a number of pretty towns and villages are dotted throughout including Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton and Edale. The stunning properties of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within easy driving distance and must be seen while visiting this area. A great base for exploring the Peak District.

Note: As part of the Buxton Festival, a funfair is situated directly outside the apartments. This will be set up on the 4th July 2017 and concludes on the 9th July 2017 which is carnival day.
