"Can’t say anything negative about Braeface cottage."
It is clean, modern and comfortable and has everything you need. Rob and Lynne are great hosts and left us a lovely welcome gift of delicious treats. Our bichon, Paddy, loved the bed and treats and was totally safe in the enclosed garden. The location is beautiful with stunning views front and back and is an excellent base to visit the Falkirk wheel, Kelpies, Stirling, Glasgow and Loch Lomond . We would definitely return.

We stayed at this cottage for 5 nights the owners couldn’t have been more helpful, leaving out there special touches for us and even the dog, the cottage is in a beautiful location yet so near the motorway, house was very comfortable and warm and had everything you need, will be recommending to friends

"Braeface cottage is absolutely stunning and has everything you need for a relaxing break."
The kitchen is fantastic, fully equipped with everything you could need and the views from the front and back of the property are exceptional. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The host had left a welcome pack including milk, that was a really nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you Rob & Lynne

"Lovely cottage."
Very clean. Ideal for visiting kelpies (25mins away) and other local attractions eg loch Lomond approx just over an hour. Property is comfortable with plenty of logs for the fire. Bathroom did not have a lock on the door but I mentioned this to the owner as a suggestion and she said it would be done that very day so they take on board any comments for improvements. I did take my one year old cocker spaniel but unlike some of the other reviews that say it's very safe in the garden for dogs I personally didn't feel it was safe enough to allow her off lead due to very low fences and gate at the front and large gaps under the side fence at the front. Her recall outside is fairly good but I just would not risk it. This comment is not meant as a criticism merely for information if you have a young dog or an escape artist dog... The owners do provide dog towels,dog bed, bowl and sofa covers so that was all great. Overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you.
Thanks for your feedback , your points have been taken on board , We are planning on putting a board across the bottom of the fence to close off the 12 inch gap in case any small dogs squeeze under it , hopefully that will that should resolve it.glad you guys enjoyed your stay.

"Great cottage."
Comfy, cosy and well equipped. Very dog friendly. Excellent hosts. It is a quiet rural location which means the pub and shops are a drive away but this is more than made up for by the countryside being on your doorstep.

"We had a lovely time at Braeface Cottage - unfortunately we were not very well during our stay, but the cottage was so comfortable that we didn't mind staying indoors."
It has been very well restored and the open kitchen/living area is great, with views out to the fields. The cottage is a great base for exploring the local area. The hosts are very welcoming, and check-in to make sure that everything is ok.
Such a shame you were ill on arrival ...At least in the cottage you were nice and warm

"Probably the best cottage we've stayed in of the dozens we've rented throughout the UK."
Flawlessly renovated with top appliances and furnishings. Immaculately presented. Cosy but spacious. Perfectly situated amongst rolling hills and countryside yet within easy reach of all amenities. Near some of Scotland's best known cities and attractions. Greeted by a selection of local produce and treats courtesy of the owners who were kind, helpful and friendly yet unobtrusive.
We stayed at Braeface Cottage during two of the worst storms for a decade and still loved it. We can't wait to return.

Beautifully modernised with fab kitchen area
Property very clean and always nicely warm Everything we needed was on hand. Very comfortable beds and nice bed linen and towels
Nice views from front and back and very easy and spacious on site parking
Excellent and helpful owner nearby not in any way obtrusive and but available if needed
Totally recommend this property with no negatives at all and would return

"We were surprised on arrival how beautiful this cottage was, everything you needed, comfort warmth and very well equipped in the kitchen, as I still love cooking away from home."
We were handy for everywhere we wanted to visit, the motorway system is brilliant. The garden was secure for our dog Tilly, who appreciated her treats left by our host Rob, who might add was very helpful and considerate to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Thank you Rob and Lynne for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage, Margaret, Celia and Tilly, highly recommend this property..

"In short we loved our stay at Braeface Cottage."
Returned home from a week of relaxation, peace and quite, just what the doctor ordered, staying at the Braeface Cottage.
Rob and Lynne are very welcoming and and helpful, giving advice, information on where to go and places to take your dog.
A welcome pack is provided just to help you settle in along with a number of basic items, milk for example.
Rob and Lynne even provide towels for your dog and throws for the furniture. Rob called shortly after our arrival and talked us through the use of various items, tv, heating etc.
Our dog Lara enjoyed the enclosed gardens, which gave us peace of mind while she was out exploring.
The accommodation was very comfortable with just about everything you will need for your stay. Loved the big and very comfortable beds.
My wife wanted to take the kitchen home only thing missing was a dryer.
The property is well located for trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Sterling withe the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel within easy reach.
We did have a couple of minor issues, not enough to spoil our break, but on reporting these to Rob, these were addressed almost immediately.
Yes we would recommend Braeface Cottage as a place to stay, and we are looking to rebook.

"We couldn't fault Braeface Cottage, it's spacious, warm, comfortable and has open views front and back."
It has recently been refurbished and extended to a very high standard and it certainly has the Wow Factor. Its exactly as seen in the photographs and is spotlessly clean throughout.
The fabulous kitchen and dining room had everything we needed and was bright and airy due to the large windows area and velux roof lights. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The lounge is also very comfortable and a really great space to relax in after a busy day exploring.
We were pleased to meet Rob, the owner, who welcomed us on arrival and we thank him for both his friendliness and kindness.
We have taken cottage holidays for many years and Braeface Cottage is up there with the best.
Highly recommended.

"Wonderful comfortable cottage."
Extremely attentive owners always on hand to make our break even more enjoyable. Excellent contained garden, front and rear, giving us peace of mind to let our greyhound roam. Lazy mornings followed by afternoon adventures to the local area, e.g. The Kelpies, ending with a cosy evening inside a lavishly comfortable cottage. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at this peaceful location.

"When we entered the cottage, we were really impressed at the size and also the decoration."
The kitchen extension was breathtaking and we immediately knew we would be having a wonderful week. Rob popped in a few times to make sure we knew how to use the heating and show us other things we needed to know He also kept in touch by text and his personal touch was the perfect start to our break. A lovely host. The enclosed garden at the front and back of the cottage have us peace of mind to let harry wander about safely. He instantly adapted to his new home and the comfortable, warm , cosy interior was a major factor in this. Lazy mornings were followed by afternoon adventures to different destinations , e.g the kelpies. All this was ended by quiet, cosy evenings in our beautiful cottage. As 25 year veterans of pet friendly holidays all over Scotland and North England, We can heartily recommend staying at Braeface Cottage. You won't be dissapointed
