  • "We loved staying at The Granary."

It was in a lovely locaton where a walk across a few fields to the coast path brings you to a view of the sea and access to great walks. The owners had thought of every little detail for us and our dog, with lovely welcome packs for us all. The hot-tub was a real treat, and the towelling robes made it easy to enjoy a dip even when the weather was a bit nippy. The beds were comfortable and the location is very quiet at night so we slept well. We would definitely recommend staying here, and will return in future. Thank you!

! Sealands Farm Cottages are absolutely beautiful. From the moment you turn down the drive and pull up outside your own holiday cottage your vacation begins. The cottages are absolutely beautiful and so cosy. Everything has been so well thought out and considered. We stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. We stayed in the Byre and it was stunning. Gorgeous furnishings and super comfy beds and a hot tub with plenty of room to stretch out. We loved the welcome pack of Prosecco Mince pies and treats for the dogs. These cottages are a gem. Emma and David have really gone all out and it shows. I want to tell all of my friends to stay but I don’t want it to be booked up so I can’t go lol. Honestly if you are looking for an amazing dog friendly cottage then this is the place for you. You will not be disappointed if you book here you will only be looking to book your next stay while you are here it’s that nice. Thank you so much for all of your hospitality and kindness. We can’t wait to come back.

Thank you SO SO much for the wonderful review James. It was and absolute pleasure to have you both here to stay along with the gorgeous doggos! See you in 2024! xx Property Owner

  • "The Granery is stunning."

Always warm, with under floor heating and log burner. Hot Tub is lovely as was the outdoor seating, just needed covers for the seat pads when it rainded. Beds were firm but perfect. Location amazing with cliff top walks with dog friendly beaches not far either. It would be difficult to find a better dog friendly property in the UK.

Hi Shirley, thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in The Granary. Our seating covers unfortunately ripped during one of the recent storms so we have now replaced them for future guests. Thanks again! We hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "The Granary has everything you could need in a holiday cottage."

The owners live close by and are very helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. We had truly awful weather for mid-September, but The Granary was warm and cosy. The garden would be completely dog-proof for any size of dog. The owners are very dog-friendly. It was my first time in a hot tub and I decided it was good! It's an easy drive to various places for walks along the coast path. We also enjoyed a visit to Dyffryn Gardens (NT).

Thank you so much for your feedback Linda! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your star and that you enjoyed the hot tub. We hope to see you again! Property Owner

  • "This cottage is outstanding !"

!! Beautiful location, stunning decor, spotlessly clean and perfect for dogs as fully enclosed with high fences. The owners are amazing, very friendly and polite. The cottage is fully equipped with every small detail you can think of. Examples include a dog tag, saying “I’m on holiday, with the cottages address”, dog gate to prevent dogs going upstairs. The setting is remote, however Bridgend is only 10 mins away. We had the most amazing holiday, accompanied by hot weather. Lots of recommendations for things to do - see week commencing 9th June 2023 in the guest book. To name a few - local milkshake vending machines - Designer outlet - lots of beaches - The star Inn, burger night was so reasonable with delicious food. - Cowbridge - Farm track coastal walk to Dunraven Castle and beach - Whocult coffee and donuts - Ogmore- by sea - Lots of retail parks close by Couldn’t recommend the Granary enough, nothing was done cheaply all lovely furnishing and good quality makes of utensils and accessories. Hannah, Luke and Daisy-Dash ( dachshund ) Xxx

Hannah thank you for such a positive review and for all of the recommendations for future guests. We love to hear what our guests have enjoyed about their stay. You were great guests and more than welcome to come back to stay anytime :) Property Owner

  • "Just got back from an amazing long weekend staying at The Granary."

What a fabulous stay it was. The area is idyllic - lovely beaches for us and the dogs, great walks on the doorstep and loads of river walks for the dogs to swim! The cottage is beautiful. Very comfortable and well fitted out with everything we needed. We were also fortunate to have beautiful sunshine for our entire stay. Because of this, we did need to purchase some beach parasols to give us some shade in the afternoon but they will be useful anyway. The garden is shaded in the morning but has sun all afternoon so it is such a delight to sit out there in the evenings. The hot tub is an added bonus and was well used!!! Emma and David are very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much bother. We felt very much at home and the dogs loved it. We will definitely be returning!! I wished we had booked a longer stay! I didn’t want to leave! If you’re thinking of booking here, don’t hesitate. It really is a lovely cottage to visit.

Oh wow! Thank you so much Tony and Corinne! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here and that you had chance to discover the local area with your lovely dogs. We really appreciate the review :-) Property Owner
