The property

Lane Cottage is a contemporary, three-storey abode resting in the heart of Cardigan, near the coast of Ceredigion.

Stylishly decorated with a grey and white colour scheme, this four-bedroom cottage is the perfect place for families to come and enjoy a getaway, set near the town’s amenities and attractions.

Leave your vehicle in the public car park or on the roadside before stepping inside your holiday home into the entrance hallway.

On your left, the living/dining room has a plush, three-seater sofa with matching pouffe, a contemporary chair with footstool, a TV, an electric fire, and a dining area with a table and chairs for when you feel like eating in.

In the kitchen, you will find white glossy units, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer, providing all the essentials for a self-catered stay.

From here, you can venture outside to the rear courtyard and unwind on the bistro set with a glass of wine in hand.

As day draws to night, retire inside, and climb upstairs to the first floor; here you can locate the sleek shower room and wash the day away.

The first-floor hosts three light and airy bedrooms: a double, a delightful single, and a bunk bedroom, whilst the second-floor offers a final king-size bedroom.

In the morning, explore your location with a selection of shops, restaurants, and cafés to choose from in this bustling market town, including Pizzatipi to marvel at the riverside with a cup of tea whilst you can also stop by the National Trust site of Cilgerran Castle and Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park for some family fun.

Visit the sandy Patch Beach for crabbing, walking, or soaking up the sun and for an award-winning, Blue Flag beach there is Mwnt, where you can jump aboard a boat for a spot of dolphin watching.

Venture to Poppit Sands for another beautiful sandy beach nearby, or head out to the historic town of Carmarthen, home to a variety of attractions, including the Xcel bowl, Gwili Steam Railway, and Carmarthenshire County Museum.

For a memorable getaway with your loved ones, choose Lane Cottage.

CARDIGAN

The bustling market town of Cardigan in Ceredigion is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and an impressive ruined castle, which is the home to the Eisteddfod. Cardigan castle has a fascinating history and has undergone substantial investment over the years. It is home to regular events throughout the year, along with a café and restaurant which has been strategically positioned with a view over the castle and River Teifi. Surrounding Cardigan is beautiful countryside, with long, dramatic cliff walks around the Cardiganshire coastline, whilst the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away. You have the opportunity to visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful Blue Flag sandy beaches like the National Trust beach Mwnt, take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals, or horse riding at the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre. For keen cyclists take a trip on the National Cycle Route, Number 82. The nearby Preseli Mountains offer wonderful walking and cycling, with some stunning views and an ancient stone monument. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as an array of castles, mills and craft centres.
