Take some stairs down and make yourself at home in the open-plan living space, where you can find a fully-equipped kitchen that the chosen chef can set up in to rustle up delicious, home-cooked dinners that can be savoured as a group around the dining table.

On warmer days, head outside down a few small steps from the living room, with a glass of your favourite tipple to bask in a wonderful alfresco affair, raising a toast to your brilliant getaway.

In the evenings, retreat to the sitting area to kick back on the large corner sofa as you enjoy a film or two on the TV.

When sleep calls, head upstairs to indulge in a bath or a revitalising shower on your way to hunkering down for a much-needed rest in one of the home's three inviting bedrooms.

Start each day with a coffee upon the balcony, gazing out upon the pristine surrounding countryside as you prepare for a brand-new day.

When you're ready, set out to explore what's on offer in the local area.

Just a short distance from the park there is a seasonal cafe/coffee shop serving food as well as home-made cakes and chutneys; you can eat in or order for delivery to your door.

A short car trip will take you into Llanteg, where you will find your nearest convenience store, whilst in nearby Amroth you will find a beach, a selection of shops, ice cream parlours, pubs and eateries or 2 miles on from there is Wisemans Bridge, home to a pub with views perched on the beautiful pebble beach.

In Pendine, you'll find another beach plus a wider selection of shops and eateries, as well as the popular landmarks of the Museum of Land Speed, Pwynt Gilman, and the National Trust site of Ragwen Point.

About the location

AMROTH

Saundersfoot 3 miles; Tenby 8 miles.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds Museum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
