  • "Property is tucked away- Park Lane is not identified by a sign (the signs get stolen apparently) and is a very narrow, partly unmade lane so easy to miss but once we found it the house was just as described online."

Parking free and easy to find in Park Street. The Coach House is a bit querky but actually we found the landing sofa and tv very useful and pleasant to sit in. The screen provided is also very useful as the front door is fully glazed. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom beautiful- Spa bath luxurious. Downstairs shower very good too as long as the bath upstairs is not being filled at same time. Second bedroom could do with some bedside lamps. Our only minor complaint was that one of the frying pans had not been washed but was in the cupboard so maybe previous owners left it and cleaners missed it. Easily rectified but not what you expect. Wine, milk, tea, coffee, sugar , biscuits and crisps left for us were much appreciated. A nice touch. We have used Sykes Cottages twice now and have been impressed both times by the quality of the properties.
