  • "The photos don’t do this place justice."

Beautifully refurbished barn. Lovely peaceful area and exceptionally friendly hosts. My son loved the tree swing and walking around the pond. The barn had many things that you wouldn’t usually get in a holiday accommodation such as condiments etc. Left feeling like we’d had a proper holiday. Thanks!

It was comfortable and clean. Cath and Pete made us feel very welcome, we had everything we needed and the scenery was fabulous very relaxing place to have a break. We would definitely recommend a visit.

  • "We found Green Grove Barn a perfect place to stay."

It had everything we needed and being out in the country it is so quiet and peaceful. The 'WOW' factor of the house is the wonderful view from the lounge and its balcony of the lake, fields and hills. When we visited, the Barn had not been open long and all the “white goods” were brand new and sparkling clean. The rooms are spacious and are beautifully decorated with plenty of storage space. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. Kathy and Peter were so friendly and welcoming and the information file they provided was excellent with not only details of the house but also suggestions of places to visit and local walks. We couldn't have wished for better accommodation.

  • "We loved our stay in Green Grove Barn."

The setting is beautiful with views down to the pond and up into the hills where cattle and sheep graze. In the evening light the cows were silhouetted against the sky between the trees and hedges .Wonderful. Cathy and Peter were charming hosts. We've never been in a property where so much was provided , or the kitchen so generously stocked with essentials. There is WI FI - not mentioned in the original details and important to our family. We were sad to leave and have come away with very happy memories.

  • "I loved our stay at Green Grove Barn ."

The photos don’t quite capture the specialness of this place . A stunning outlook to wake up to each morning and our hosts were so friendly and helpful . The welcome breakfast bits , biscuits and household essentials were much appreciated. A beautiful property that’s been refurbished sustainably and every care taken to provide guests with all they require for a comfortable stay . We will be back !

Green Grove Barn is a spectacular, reverse-level barn conversion on a small holding in the Camarthenshire countryside.

The property is ideal for two couples or a family and boasts a multitude of home conveniences, including a dishwasher and Smart TV, while also providing a great rural experience.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by spacious parking and a wonderful private courtyard; you can spend your nights in the open air while making use of the BBQ in the private courtyard.

Drop your bags in the ground-floor bedroom, a double with views of the ponies' sand school, then ascend to the additional bedrooms and living areas.

Another elegant double room awaits you upstairs, complete with sleek, wall storage for your items.

The well-equipped kitchen/diner will have your party's chef cooking up meals for the entire group, while the rest catch-up and plan a day of adventures at the dining table for four.

From here, proceed to the sitting area, which is wide and has floor-to-ceiling windows and a Juliet balcony, which has been cleverly placed to appreciate the rural views.

When you're ready to go exploring, head to nearby Carmarthen, which has a popular range of shops, pubs, and restaurants as well as the Carmarthenshire County Museum at Abergwili.

The National Botanic Gardens of Wales has the world's largest single span glasshouse and is home to the British Bird of Prey Centre.

Also the charming Aberglasney Gardens are only 9 miles away as you travel up the beautiful Tywi Valley.

The Gwili Steam Railway is a must, taking you back in time on a journey to remember.

Make your way to Llansteffan for a day at the beach with a picnic or higher up in the impressive castle ruins.

Or head to Laugharne where you can learn about the life of Dylan Thomas with his Writing Shed and the poet's former house, now a charming museum.

Kidwelly, famed for its Norman castle is also worthy of your time, as is neighbouring Pembrey Country Park.

If you're in luck with your timing, enjoy the thrill of the races at Ffoslas Racecourse.
