"A beautifully presented house."
So well equipped and spotlessly clean. The large garden was ideal for our dog. Very impressed with the garden furniture too. We shall certainly return. The White Horse is well worth a visit.

"Superb property in a fabulous location; true to online description; comfortable and easy to work/cook in."
Liked the layout in that it was set up for break out units - watching TV, playing games, working - something for everyone. Initial appearances clean, but could benefit with a periodic deep clean along skirting boards, behind furniture and lift cushions of sofa and comfy chairs and vacuum. Detritus here quite horrible, served as a reminder that this is a holiday home. As cushions slid off furniture quite easily it was a constant reminder that could do with deeper clean. Living room furniture not overly comfortable, had possibly seen better days. That said, the property provided a place to recharge and refresh and provided us with a great week of family memories - thank you. The welcome goodies were a nice personal touch.

"For a 5* accommodation we would expect comfortable seating however the main living area was uncomfortable and very low."
Having to use the cushions to boost the height. To seat 6 would also be a challenge in this room as it's the only one with a TV.
There is no log burner as described but log effect heaters and radiators.
There are holes in the rear fencing where our dog got through so be mindful if letting your dog out off lead. More than enough in the kitchen for all of your needs and the ground level bedroom with ensuite was a benefit. The pub is in walking distance but take a torch if returning at night.
About an hour or so drive from most attractions. (Great Yarmouth, Broads, Lowestoft)
Very nice but needs the living room furniture updating and a good duster to remove all the webs!

"Beautiful house, just stunning."
Great garden. We had a problem with the wi fi, the owner came round straight away but the fault was external. So much to see and do in the area. Best holiday for a while. Highly recommended.

"As a fellow holiday home owner I commend you on creating a fantastic place to stay."
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gem, accommodation was well appointed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had some great days out and looked forward to coming back to relax in the evening at the Round House. If I could make one small suggestion - a pint of milk would be much appreciated so we could enjoy a cup of tea before the shopping arrived. We would love to come back when the weather was more reliable and enjoy the lovely outdoor space. Thank you x

"What a beautiful house for a wonderful long weekend with friends."
We've so enjoyed our stay here exploring the beaches and lovely towns & villages nearby. We spotted all the 'Detectorists' filming locations too, thrilling as we're big fans of the series
Thanks for a lovely places to stay, hope to be back one day.

"We had a lovely few days in this superb property."
It is a bit 'Tardis-like' in the sense of looking quaint and tiny outside, but spacious and really modern inside. The garden is lovely and affords beautiful views across fields. The village of Easton has a great pub with excellent food, and the nearby Easton Farm Park is interesting, with walks and animals...also dog-friendly. We will definitely return to The Round House. Just a couple of tiny 'tweaks' : as someone with a really pronounced reaction to chemical scents, I had to open all the windows and switch off the electric air-fresheners...plus relegate the reed diffusers to the drying area. It was rather overpowering. A more amusing point is that although the directions were fine, the confusing aspect was that there are four round houses in this area! A totally lovely thing...

"A lovely place to spend a family Xmas!"
Despite an initial problem with the heating due to a faulty tank gauge, which was quickly and efficiently dealt with by Sarah and her friendly plumber, we have had a great time.
The cottage is quirky, clean and very well equipped with all we needed for a week away. There were even some nice extra treats for the family (including the dog), which was quite unexpected and showed real thought.
We would love to return!

"Property was very comfortable with enough cutlery and tableware for 6 adults."
Big garden with plenty seating. Another comfy chair in the conservatory would seat a 6th person as well instead of having to use a kitchen chair. This is where we spent most of our evenings.
Beds were good and comfortable.

"We must love the Round House because this was our third visit and we have booked again for 2024."
One suggestion - since there is a downstairs bedroom complete with en suite this makes the cottage suitable for older visitors accompanied by younger family. A very welcome addition in the downstairs en suite would be a hand rail to make getting in and out of the bath/shower easier and safer. Assuming that one day we will get lovely sunny weather again a few sun beds would be very welcome. Otherwise, we love it!

"The Round House is a really nice traditional style property with plenty of space, the garden is really big and private."
The house had all we needed and is near to many of the best parts of Suffolk. Only criticism is the garden furniture would really benefit from some cushions as it's a lovely garden to sit in but the chairs and benches are quite uncomfortable after a while.

I didnt like the tone of the messages in the property - not very welcoming
i wouldnt book the property again and i wouldnt recommend it due to a spurious charge at the end of the rental - £60 for cleaning up a small amount of dog hair from a hard floor after we cleaned the property throughout and followed all of the 'instructions'

"The Roundhouse is a lovely property set in a very large garden with a stream running along the bottom."
The location is excellent and we could get to all of the local attractions in less than 30 minutes. The bedrooms worked well for our extended family and the variety of rooms in the house meant that there were lots of spaces for us all to hang out. The kitchen was very well stocked, so cooking for the six of us was easy (there was also a large supermarket about 5 mins drive away). The only negative was the poor quality internet access which meant it was virtually impossible to get online - and as the mobile network was also poor, this was quite frustrating.

"This is a delightful 'tardis' like cottage developed and decorated to a high quality standard in a peaceful location."
Unfortunately, the interior furnishings favour design over function e.g. the conservatory seating is stylish but uncomfortable; first floor bedroom wash basins stylish but not practical without a mirror facing you.
However, there are areas for improvement e.g. the cottage wasn't serviced properly as the top shelf in the wardrobe of the ground floor bedroom was filthy; no soap in the ground floor cloakroom; a second hand towel missing from the ground floor bedroom en-suite; numerous cobwebs throughout all ceilings and around furniture legs.
Curiously the guest book is full and hasn't been replaced since 2019. The house keeper has pinned hand written notices on the kitchen window advising that beds should not be stripped as they will be "inspected" along with a £10.00 fine per dog poo found - nice to be welcomed in a such a way!

"A beautiful and welcoming holiday property, with everything we could have asked for."
The wine and crisps left as a welcome gift were very thoughtful and appreciated. The property is spacious, and the conservatory that opens up from the kitchen with the fairy lights and electric effect wood stove was such a great space. A great base from which to explore Suffolk. The only downside was the cockerel next door which loved being an alarm clock from 2am each morning…it would be good to have this as a warning to guests in the details. To be woken every morning on a holiday at this hours we were was frustrating to say the least.
