Have given a lower score for cleanliness as I had to give the microwave a good clean as it was full of splashes and also stunk of curry

Many thanks for letting us know about this problem and I apologise for this lapse in the cleaning of the property. Like you, we are surprised that the guest with the curry had not cleaned the microwave afterwards. We have asked the cleaner to check the microwave in future and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Property Owner

  • "An imaginative redesign of a tiny house into a truly stunning and luxurious space."

Lovely, relaxing colour schemes and well chosen furniture with top of the range appliances plus a totally private and leafy courtyard. The downstairs cloakroom was a clever and much appreciated addition. We've just booked for next year!

  • "Had no WI-FI for most of stay reported and understand that difficult to sort."

No instructions on his tire boot etc but managed to use4 g to find by instructions online. Spent a lot of time trying to do this. The late check in means little time to contact office on day one. Builders next door info does say til May but still ongoing and early starts vans parked across front window and door. Disappointed no welcome milk etc, first property ever stayed with nothing. (Prob stayed in 30 or more uk and France etc). Used much more of our data allowance than planned.

Many thanks for your feedback. The wifi problem turned out to be a BT issue so we have installed a back-up which will access the mobile phone network in future. We've also included an instruction sheet covering the BT router. As for the builders next door, I am really sorry this happened. We had been promised that no work would be done after 19th May, so it was a great disappointment to learn that builders had not had the courtesy to let you know they needed to do some final bits of work. Furthermore, although the builders are local, I was surprised that they did not stop to think about parking somewhere other than directly in front of the window and door and starting work early with no warning. I have written to the project manager and owners of No. 15 to make it clear that this was unacceptable behaviour. Although there was no milk in the fridge, we hope you enjoyed the bottle of Prosecco! • "What an immaculate little cottage just perfect for two."

Great location. I think a cafetière would be nice. The coffee pot they have there is functional but not so easy to use. The pot gets super hot and makes it hard to handle. Other than that perfect.
