  • "Great location for exploring the Dales & the lovely local towns & villages."

Very close to the Leeds & Liverpool canal for lovely walks. The pod was equipped with everything we needed, including a lovely hot shower. Unfortunately we found the bed very uncomfortable as the mattress is very thin.

  • "We booked this stay to get away for a few days and generally unwind."

We certainly did that. Fabulous location with wonderful views and great walks with our dogs along the canal just two mins away. Local chippy was very good and a well stocked coop 5 mins away. Nina is the perfect host, came to see us when we arrived to check all OK, very friendly and made a fuss of our dogs, we felt so welcome. We got held up on the way and our shopping delivery arrived before us, Nina not only took in the delivery but kindly put it all away for us in the cabin. Nina was also on hand when one of our dogs had a medical issue, put us in touch with her vet and even offered to take us there. Cabin was spotless, well laid out and very comfortable. To summarise, a great place to stay and a fantastic host.

Oh thank you for the lovely feedback - We really do love dogs here and know just how important they are as family members and how much they mean to their owners. So glad our vets managed to get you in, in super quick time to sort things out! Really look forward to seeing you again soon With love Nina & the gang x Property Owner

  • "Perfect location for rest and relaxation, fantastic friendly welcoming people that run the business nothing is too much trouble for them."

The only thing i would say is if its dog friendly the cabins should have a fully enclosed fence,in the heat of summer with the cabin door open we had to tie our two dogs up which we dont like doing and to be honest neither do they, other than that its a wonderful place

Really glad you had such a lovely relaxing break. The cabins are dog friendly and the spaces outside are all set up to be private. Because we are a working farm and have free range farm animals we would have to install 6 ft high fences around each of the cabins to make them completely dog escape proof (my dogs are the orginial escape artists so I know what dogs can escape from!) so the wonderful views would be spoilt. We've found that people who's dogs like to explore (like to take themselves for a walk) clip their dogs on extender leads like on campsites, so that the dogs can play on the private grass next to the cabins, and this has worked fine. We are a very dog friendly place and have had a lot of rescue dogs here. With Love Nina x Property Owner

  • "This accommodation comes highly recommended from us!"

The pods a based in a quiet location on a farm, over looking fields of sheep. Just down the lane, which is probably a 2 minute walk, is the Liverpool to Leeds canal, which you can walk or cycle along for miles admiring the wildlife. The owner Nina was brilliant! She was very welcoming, cheerful and extremely helpful! The pod had everything that we needed for our weeks stay and even the dog was catered for! On arrival we were left a welcome pack which went down very well after a 7 hour drive. Nina even left dog biscuits for our dog! If I had to find something to request it would be some instructions for the multi purpose microwave / grill / oven, but saying that we did work it out eventually!! Thank you again to Nina for making our holiday such a success!

Debbie it was so lovely to meet you and so glad you had such a lovely time! Will dig out the instructions for the oven and make sure there's a copy in every cabin! Hope to see you again soon With love Nina xx Property Owner

  • "Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting."

Nina is a fantastic host. The cabin was comfy and cozy even in the gales and rain of the Yorkshire Moorside. It has everything you need. Lots of hot water for the shower. The water is from a bore hole and is the nicest, freshest water you will ever taste. Like a home from home with all the essentials you will need - kettle, hob, microwave, cutlery, plates etc. Even a little welcome awaited us in the cabin with bread, croissants, butter and biscuits and wine. Plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going. It is a working farm so expect to be woken up to farm noises. The best sound in the world. Even got to cuddle new born lambs. Highlight. The only way to enhance the experience would be to fully enclose the garden area so that the dogs didn't have to be on the lead at all times. but this didn't really detract from the enjoyable stay. It's a lovely walk down along the canal to the White Lion pub the food is fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again.

Thank for the feedback Jayne and thanks for the help with the lambs! It was a real pleasure to meet you and spend time with you. Good feedback about enclosing the space, will look at trying to find a way to do it discreetly. Looking forward to seeing you again (and don't forget your apron so you can help with the sheep!)
