The owners were very close by and helpful with a query about the heating. Would go back any time.

  • "A wonderful cottage, comfortably furnished, quiet and relaxing."

Shops a stone throw away and central for touring the area. A 5 minute walk to the Brontë birthplace in Thornton and a short drive to Haworth. Can recommend Saltaire (check opening days) and pubs White Horse and Ring o Bells. Parking is nearby but we had no problem and there are a few steps down to the property from the road. Would definitely stay again, there’s so much to see.

  • "Beautiful cottage, in perfect condition, immaculately cleaned."

Lovely welcome with basket, tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of wine. The bathroom has underfloor heating which is much appreciated as it was a snowy, chilly day. There is a log burner, the CO-OP is a two minute walk and sells logs. Cottage is ideally located for Bradford, nice walks. We visited Saltaire. A map would have been helpful to find the cottage, as it’s off the road down approx 12 shallow steps. Fortunately the locals are very friendly and took us there. The lack of a table was the only slight inconvenience for us as there were 4 people in total and we like to eat at a table. There is a space for two to sit at a breakfast bar though. Many thanks.

  • "What a wonderful cottage."

Very high spec. Beautifully clean. Very comfortable indeed. Lovely decor, the cottage is warm and cosy. A nice welcome basket and bottle of wine on arrival which is a very nice touch and even dogs get welcome treats The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft and fresh and plentiful. There is a lovely shared garden at the front of the pretty cottage so in warm weather will be lovely place to sit out and drink that wine The cottage is in easy reach of beautiful Villages and towns and there are plenty of good dog walks on the doorstep. This cottage cannot be beaten! We love and will return.

  • "The garden was not enclosed which made life very tricky for two dogs!"

Also the guy next door yelled at us when we arrived - he was really drunk and stuck his head out of the window and yelled about how he had cats so we couldn't let our dogs off the lead. It was an unpleasant start to the trip. The cottage was lovely apart from that though.

Sorry to hear this you should of just give me a call and would of sorted the matter as it says am only 50 yards away all the best Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful cottage to spend a weekend in."

Everything thought of and was lovely to arrive to a welcome basket, with the essentials. A stones throw away from beautiful country side, we took the dogs on lovely walks. Was a really good base for us to visit family and will definitely be coming back to stay, if there is availability!! Only suggestion would be to have some hooks at backs of doors.

  • "We have just come back from a two night stay at 11 Lane End."

This cottage is a fabulous property; it is beautifully decorated throughout and impeccably clean! The owners were very helpful and the welcome basket of goodies was a lovely, personal touch. The location of the cottage is close to local amenities, places of interest and enjoyable walks- including the birth place of the Brontë sisters and Thornton Viaduct. Using the cottage as our base, we enjoyed day trips to Haworth, Brontë Waterfall and Leeds. We ate at the White Horse Inn and Ring O Bells ( both 5 minutes by car from the property) - the food in both was delicious. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again!

! Lane end Cottage is absolutely stunning, the cottage was warm and cosy and the rooms and decor were beautiful. The owners were so welcoming too, even down to putting a carved pumpkin outside our front door on our last night to celebrate Halloween! The cottage is located right by the viaduct which is a lovely walk and also convenient for any amenities as just off the Main Street. Also if you want a good meal the white horse pub is a must! We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and will be back soon!!
