Experience a one-of-a-kind break with all the comforts of home, easy dining options, and activities and extras that will make it an unforgettable holiday in nature. Escape into a corner of calm in the forest, with muted shades of slate blue and soft grey complemented by weathered oak furniture and floor-to-ceiling views, in a cabin built to sit sensitively within the woodland. A great choice for group getaways and families, the Silver Birch has everything you need for your self-catering break, with high-spec fittings, botanical inspired accents, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor hot tub overlooking the trees. Find your cabin within a forest filled with Scots Pine trees, deep in the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National, where red squirrels play and golden eagles soar overhead and pine-covered mountains meet cabins along the shore of Loch Long. Ardgartan, Argyll is a great choice for outdoor adventures too.

Follow woodland trails or explore by mountain bike, or do a bit of serious hiking amongst the stunning scenery of Argyll Forest Park and the Arrochar Alps. Make the most of the loch with guided boat cruises, canoeing and kayaking Loch Lomond’s islands, or enjoy a real flavour of Scotland at some of Loch Lomond's most famous restaurants. In the forest, book a range of Forest Ranger activities that will help you connect with nature and the forest around you – from Nature Tots for under-5s, to Wildlife Wonders and Survival Skills, for any age. About the location

ARDGARTAN, LOCH LONG

In the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, pine-covered mountains sweep down to meet cosy cabins on the shore of Loch Long. Ardgartan is a forest filled with Scots Pine trees, where red squirrels play and golden eagles soar overhead. Follow woodland trails or explore by mountain bike then tuck into a real flavour of Scotland at some of Loch Lomond's most famous restaurants. Ardgartan Argyll is the perfect base for a Scottish walking holiday, from a gentle lochside stroll which begins at your cabin door to more strenuous hikes within the Argyll Forest Park. Surrounding the cabin are the Arrochar Alps, a glorious mountain range where you can bag as many as 5 munros. No stay in Argyll would be complete without visiting Inveraray and its stunning castle. The ancestral seat of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, the castle is still the family’s home today.
