"This property was situated in a lovely location with stunning views especially from the front lawn we spent most our time up there, short walk to the beach and walk up to a panorama of mountains and sea."
There were good facilities and it was a well thought out holiday home the garden was very well maintained however we were not informed when the gardener would come. He came earlier than mentioned on the information due to the good weather. The house and sunroom were surface clean a few let downs such as unclean hand towels with toothpaste marks etc. and on both beds the linen had many black hairs on the sheets as if a dog had been in it. Once reported to Gill it took a few nights for the cleaner to change to clean ones.

"We had a lovely relaxing week in Bron Heulog ."
It is in a lovely peaceful area with beautiful views.
The cottage is small but has everything you need.
The stairs are quite narrow and steep and the mattresses are on low bases which some people may find difficulty in getting down to , we are 70 and we were fine . The summer house is an added bonus , lovely to sit and read in . The drive is narrow so you need to take care manoevering in and out . The cottage is very close to Beaumaris and several beautiful beaches , lots of lovely places to eat too.

The inside was cosy, well presented & clean. There was everything we needed for our stay. The beds were low but they were really comfy & as a couple in our 60s we didn't have any issues with them. The sun room in the garden is lovely & a great place to relax & read whilst enjoying the fantastic views.

"No mention of being up a steep hill neither my husband or I could walk anywhere."
I was looking fwd to taking my dog on walks in the adjoining countryside but far to steep. Kitchen was OK but several pans seen better days and same for cutlery and crockery. Bedrooms were a nightmare as mattresses on floor I had to use the z-bed and there is no handrail on the extremely steep stairs. The toilet being downstairs was quite demanding when needing it in the night. All in all very disappointing

"The kitchen facilities were very poor indeed."
One cupboard under the sink for crockery (not hygienic) and 3 drawers for cutlery and pans. No cupboards for food at all. We had to keep our food in bags on the floor or on top of the cooker. It really needs a dresser or cupboard and worktop installing as there’s plenty of space to do this. The window in the lounge was painted shut and the bedroom windows where tricky to open - need refurb or replacing. We had to keep the front door open for fresh air. The lounge and bathroom were very nice though. Don’t stay here unless you’re under 5ft tall as both bedrooms have very low beams to duck under and beds on floor.

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of Mon/ Anglesey, right on the coastal path."
It was very peaceful, with the sun room offering amazing views in comfort, over a beautiful garden.
The cottage is traditional, with low bedroom ceilings and beds, but we loved that, as it is very authentic.
For a small cottage it is well equipped apart from no laundry facilities. A washing line for hanging out swim wear in the garden would be good as there are lots of great swimming opportunities nearby! The cottage is lovely, with a homely atmosphere in a perfect location and we'd love to return.

"Perhaps a more welcoming approach, not particularly friendly when spoke on phone re arrival just an insistence to put all bedding and mattress covers in black bags when we were leaving."
This is fair enough in these covid times, however in addition to the 9am check out and 5pm check in and the email from Sykes on the last day of the holiday insisting on the numerous things we needed to do before check out made us felt like we couldn't be trusted with leaving the property as we found it.
Despite this the cottage was cozy, although it did have a strong smell of wet dog when we arrived and which seemed to linger. The summer house was nice with amazing views. In our view the cottage would be even better with some decoration to bring it up to more contemporary standards. WiFi would also be a much needed addition in order to book tickets, restaurants etc in the local area as mobile reception could not be relied upon. Car park space was very tight and if I remember rightly said for 3 cars, they must be very small cars if they 3 can fit in the allocated space.

"A very enjoyable break on the lovely island of Anglesey in a pretty, quirky cottage perfectly proportioned and very cosy."
A good base for exploring the area by car or foot - the Wales coastal path is well marked all around the island. The closest town of Beaumaris is charming, with its pier and Castle for interest and relaxation, Jolly's cafe for refreshments and the Red Boat for delicious ice creams.
The cottage itself is well equipped and has the addition of a lovely sun room which was a bonus.
There is no washing machine which might be a drawback for some families - perhaps utilities could have been included in the sun room instead of a shower? The shop in the village was closed for refurbishment during our stay unfortunately so we had to go further afield.
The track up to the cottage is rough, steep and has a drop to one side and the driveway should be negotiated with care.
Lovely cottage in a great location with room enough for a small family.

Tip: to get to stunning beach walking distance from house - carry on past turn off to house up the road, follow first footpath sign on Right, you go along side of a house, then through a wooded area. The beach is called Traeth Gwyn.

Views across to Snowdonia stunning- sitting in the sun room watching the evening light play; waking mornings to an expanse of blue... Well kept garden a super relaxing space. Nature reserve at the back totally amazing- hell of a vantage point- butterflies and orchids too. Google maps does not show that beach access on foot from the cottage pretty steep. Would have been very tempted to return, next time for a fortnight to get to more beaches, but post-covid price hikes seem to have made that prohibitive...

Older children maybe disappointed as no Wi-fi. Also I know this is an older property but cleaner needs to concentrate more on the cobwebs. Also sapling growing out of kitchen sink.
Hard to tell from photos of property the beds are not proper beds with a base unit, basically mattress on the floor, although they were comfy less mobile may find difficult to get up and out of bed.
Great place if you love quirky older properties and getting away from it all. Perfect to sit and read in piece and quiet curled up in front of the fire after a great day exploring

Limited headroom in the bedrooms so watch your heads clunked mine a couple of times lol. Just a few mins drive to Beumaris where you can anything you need or forgot. "Loved the location - good for staying on Anglesey or going back to the mainland."
Headroom in the bedrooms was a bit restricted (and we are not tall). The open fire was a nice feature and was enough to take the chill off in the evenings. The initial driveway up to the cottage is a bit tricky due to a loose, uneven surface and you need to take a run at it to avoid getting wheelspin or stalling. On Thursday we came back to find several bits of dog mess near the front door and were lucky to spot it before it got walked inside. The gardener comes that day and whether they let a dog run loose while they are working I wouldn't like to say.
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and the only thing that might put us off returning was the bedrooms, but that said we could always use the summer house which is well equipped and we didn't really make enough use of.
