Nestled between Ballinskelligs Bay and Lough Currane, sits Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry. Surrounded by mountains and lakeland, Waterville also offers a fine sandy beach, two golf courses, one being a championship 18 hole course, and interesting archaeological remains. Enjoy walks along the wonderful Kerry Way or angling and fishing on one of the area’s many excellent rivers or lakes. Take a boat trip to the Skellig Rocks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy fabulous vistas across the bay, coupled with seeing one of Europe’s best known and oldest monasteries. Other trips of note are Valentia Island or Dingle, or visit the bustling coastal town of Cahersiveen which is only 10 miles away. A great base from which to explore the south west coast, and famous Ring of Kerry.

Waterville 3 miles. A lovely, detached single storey cottage in a rural location, 3 miles from the coastal resort of Waterville in County Kerry. This Waterville cottage makes a great family base for a coastal getaway; the bright, spacious kitchen includes a dining area and boasts a warm and cosy range cooker, making it a great space for spending time together. The bathroom has fresh, clean lines and a separate bath and shower, while the sitting room has a lovely open fire, ideal for chilly evenings. A short drive away lies Reen Rua Beach, while Waterville and Cahersiveen are a little further. There are great walks available in the area, as well as good beaches, golf and fishing, and with the excellent Kerry Way running close by, you will be sure to find something to keep all the family happy.
