• "We loved our recent stay at Ocean Blue."

  The accommodation was absolutely pristine and in superb order throughout. The communication from the property owners was excellent and there were some lovely touches like complimentary milk, apple juice and biscuits waiting for us when we arrived. The location is ideal as it is on a bus route, close to the coastal railway station and coastal walks, which meant we didn't need to use our car at all. All in all it was a wonderful holiday and we look forward to returning.

• "This was our second stay at Ocean Blue and we were glad to see it has maintained the exceptionally high standards seen on our last stay."

  A beautifully spotless apartment, very tastefully decorated with great, high quality equipment and technology throughout. It is ideally positioned with a bus stop outside for easy access to St Ives, and also with a walk down a (very!) steep hill to the golden sands of Carbis Bay and also the railway station. The view from the rear of the apartment over the bay is lovely. Yet again we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this fantastic apartment and would love to return. • "The property was fantastic."

  It was beyond brilliant with all the gadgets and tech for everything which was all so easy to use. I have never stayed in anywhere else that had such high end fittings and furnishings. It was superbly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The view was amazing from the double doors, out to godrevy lighthouse. Superbly positioned to walk into St ives or to lelant, but if you need it the bus stop outside takes you everywhere-st ives, hayle, truro and the double decker goes all round the coast. Just an amazing stay.

  The Apartment was very much 5 Star , Decorated to a very high standard, and had literally everything you would need, very clean and cosy comfortable bed. Sea Views amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Parking Excellent. Plenty of Walks, good value train service into St Ives, frequent Bus Service literally outside . • "This place is amazing, very clean and very comfortable."

  The bed is really comfy and my husband and I really had a good night sleep. This place is home away from home. Everything that we need is provided and so much more. This place really exceeded my expectation. A 5 star accommodation. The location is great and the parking is a bonus. • "What can I say, a fantastic apartment and with all the extra touches it made our holiday."

  We travelled to many places and it was always good to go back to our apartment as it was such a lovely place to be. Good views, all the mod cons, a good location as was close to the station and also a bus stop direct outside taking you to St Ives. I will certainly stay here again and recommend to others. There was gifts of choc / apple juice / biscuits and also a pint of milk in the fridge. Thank you again for such a lovely clean and modern place to stay.

• "Another fantastic relaxing stay in Ocean Blue Carbis Bay."

  The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated, the attention to detail is second to none. It’s got everything you’ll need for your holiday. It is always clean and fresh when you walk in. The views from the French window is lovely overlooking the sea. The buses run frequently all over Cornwall and the bus stops just outside. There is only positives about this property so much so we’ll definitely be going back. The owners John and Maggie are very friendly and helpful.

• "We had a fantastic week in Ocean Blue definitely had the WOW factor as soon as you opened the door."

  The views from the sitting room across to the sea and beyond were lovely especially with the double doors open. It had everything you could think of to suit your needs and more besides. The Dyson air conditioning units in the bedroom and sitting room were a blessing as they were programmed to come on automatically when the apartment got too hot and cooled it down in no time.The blinds in all the rooms were operated by the touch of a button, lights came on when you walked into the hall and bathroom. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable staying here and didn’t want to come home.The bus stopped right outside so we didn’t have to use the car as they ran very frequently. The train station was about a 5 minute walk. There is a supermarket and fish and chip shop just down the road. The fish and chips were lovely . The owners John and Maggie text the day before we arrived and the day before we went home to wish us safe journeys and if there was anything needed to get in touch. We have already booked again for next year and can’t wait to return.

• "We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue."

  What a beautifully modern and tastefully decorated flat, spotlessly clean and fragrant. Everything has been thought of, from the convenient high tech (with Alexa controlling the lights,etc) to the high spec equipment such as the Dyson fan and hairdryer. The view from the living room out onto the bay is beautiful. The flat's position on the main road is so convenient with the bus stop right outside - frequent daily buses to St Ives meant we could largely forget about the car which was safely parked for the week in the allocated bay within the front courtyard. The Gannet Inn, also just across the road, is also very convenient and provided lovely meals in a comfortable environment. Beautiful Carbis Bay beach is a short walk down a very steep hill - allow more time to walk back up - it's really quite a climb! Thank you to John and Maggie for their kind messages just before our arrival and departure. Overall an excellent holiday for myself and my husband on our first visit to Cornwall. We really look forward to returning soon!

• "Ocean Blue really lived up to its name with gorgeously themed interiors and all the creature comforts you could wish for."

  John and Maggie have such fabulous attention to detail which made our stay perfect and wishing to stay longer. On arrival, we were met by the wonderful smell of lavender in the apartment and a fantastic choice of music courtesy of AirPlay in every room. The Cornish biscuits, apple juice and milk left in the fridge was a welcome sight - so too the plentiful supply of tea, coffee etc and state of the art appliances. It truly is a fabulous apartment and we would thoroughly recommend. Thank you so much John and Maggie for the 5 star treatment!

• "This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as good as the first."

  Everything was of top quality, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay home from home. The cleanliness was spotless the view from the living room is stunning. The kitchen facilities are superb. We tried to book for next year but it was fully booked on the weeks we needed. This does not surprise me as I would recommend this property to everyone.

  9th to 23rd..This is the best self catering apartment we have stayed in and would highly recommend it. The view from the lounge is fantastic. The fixtures and fittings are all top quality. • "Wow! What a place, what a view!"

  We loved spending the week at Ocean Blue . The apartment was spotless and the fixtures and fittings all feel brand new and we loved the tech, especially the music in every room .The view from the living room is fabulous and the parking space is a very welcome bonus. • "This was a beautiful apartment and short of absolutely nothing!"

  Well equipped with everything we could ever need to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely clean, soft bed linen and such a comfortable bed! Well located for the beach, stunning coastal walks and in easy reach of a selection of places to eat and drink. The local buses stopped right outside, and the train station was just a short walk away. Having an allocated parking spot at the front of the property made unloading and loading so easy and convenient. Overall an absolutely top-notch place to stay. Very highly recommended!!!

  We have found no problem with the lighting and the fact that the hall and bathroom lights switch themselves off after a short time is a very useful feature. It was a pleasure communicating with you and we hope to return in the future.

• ""I stayed here May 2021 and upon entry to the property was blown away by how lovely it was laid out."

  The kitchen is kitted out with the latest vintage Smeg appliances and I must give 5 stars to the coffee machine alone. Blinds, lights sounds all centrally controlled by Amazon Alexa and Ipad was very impressive. The view out of the sitting room window is something else and the owner has clearly thought of everything as a pair of binoculars is available to view the lighthouse and boats active in the bay. Both TV's in the property are exceptional and linked up to Sky and Netflix. And the IPAD has Spotify installed and is linked via Airplay to the superb Denon sound system which can be directed to any room in the property. I had a lovely bath while listening to some Nightwish and Grieg. I haven't even mentioned the quality of the sitting and sleeping furniture. The sofa is very comfy and the bed is like a blanket of clouds, so soft and luxurious.This is by FAR the best property I've stayed in and would not hesitate in re-booking here again.Hats of the the owner, they have clearly thought a lot about the look and feel of this property. You can tell a lot of love and dedication have gone into it..Well played! (If there were 6 stars I would give them!!)"
