Some items did not worked eg tin opener. Took awhile to suss heating system and the tv Wi-Fi was problematic. No one was available on arrival to explain anything.

! Excellent & well equipped property. Clean & tidy throughout. Has a small back garden with table & chairs to sit at (if the sun came out!). Owner was very welcoming & give us information on the area & where to eat. Brilliant location to travel around this part of Donegal.

  • "Truly enjoyed our two weeks in Teach Annie's."

Warmly welcomed by Breid. The house is really comfy and homely, the kitchen is well supplied with whatever you'd need and the cooker is great. Bed was really snug and comfy and the shower was absolutely brilliant! A perfect location for walks to and around the beach and around the local park and bigger walks like Glenveigh or the Burtonport railway walk only a short drive...Didn't make it to Tory this time...next time for sure :)

  • "This property is superb!"

It is a real mixture of the old and the new with the level access shower room and the quirky older furniture. It is very well appointed, extremely comfortable and scrupulously clean. It is a real home from home. I can't recommend this property highly enough.

  • "We loved our holiday here, lovely well equipped house, comfortable clean beds."

In a great central area in a nice friendly village. Good cafes and takeaways. Close to beaches although weather was windy we managed a walk on beaches but not weather for swimming. Nice area for sitting out the back with cuppa. We tended to spend most of our time in the kitchen area. Plenty of space for 2yr old wee boy to play. Definitely recommend teach Annie as a holiday home, we hope to return again. Loved falcarragh and the many things to do within an hour's drive.

  • "We were very lucky with the weather and no rain for two weeks in Donegal!"

We had a lovely holiday in this quite basic house which is ideal for a couple, or also with a couple of small children. Due to Covid, eating out options are very limited in Falcarragh and apart from the excellent Mr Fishy chipper down the road, take aways are probably best avoided. We cooked most meals in the house and bought the tasty Donegal fish, meat and spuds locally. Cakes and baked goods including bread are all good in Donegal! We would like to thank Mr & Mrs McGee for their hospitality in Teach Annie.

It was nice to have an open fire as well. The kitchen could do with an upgrade but it was functional. Great location though and handy for the beach which was great.

  • "Teach Annie is perfectly positioned to explore Donegal."

The cottage is cosy and still retains its 60s decor, apart from the bathroom which is modern. We loved it as it reminded us of our childhood. It has an open fire which was needed as it was very wet and cold during our stay. Everything was spotless. The local town has lots to offer and a few good pubs. We would definitely stay here again.

  • "The bathroom seems to have had an upgrade from when the photos were uploaded."

The rooms had a lovely 1960s feel, but the bathroom is modern, as is the cooker, washing machine and heating, so best of both worlds. Falcarragh had more facilities than we had expected, so we were very comfortable for our week.

  • "We enjoyed our holiday at Teach Annie enormously."

The house is lovely with a 1950s retro feel and very bright. It's close to all facilities, the welcome was fantastic and we would definitely go back. The tiny niggles were lack of summer bedding and no big teapot. Although the house is dog-friendly, the garden is not enclosed and the house is on a not very busy main road. A brilliant holiday!
