  • "Waders was amazing."

We loved it so much we booked another night. Thank you to the owner. The cottage has every thing. Dish washer and a washer was a massive bonus. Very peaceful area. Parking wasn’t an issue. There’s two at the front and 4 at the side of the property. Very clean and welcoming. It’s on a step hill but it’s only a few seconds till you’re off it. A garden for our dog was perfect. It’s much bigger than we thought. New kitchen. Short walk in to Salcome which was paradise. Shop which we only discovered as we left two streets up (Spar). So it’s easier to nip there than walk or drive to the co-op. 5 min walk down to the village. Lovely pubs and an amazing pizza place. All dog friendly. We will defiantly be back. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you.

  • "Waders is a great property to rent in Salcombe."

Stunning views, central location, spacious inside. Yes, the property is not as new as some others but this is reflected in the fair price. And we were more than happy staying here with 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog for a week.

Well equipped and spotlessly clean! Our 2nd visit but won't be the last. Love the new TV and great having the Netflix and other channels to access! Out of your your control but very noisy with workmen/Gardner's but to be expected at this time of year . Didn't spoil our holiday and looking forward to returning next year. Thank you!

  • "We thought Waders has a lot of potential and has great views."

The kitchen had everything you'd need on holiday and is in good condition. All the rooms are a good size and the bedrooms have plenty of storage. The electric heaters were efficient and easy to adjust. Unfortunately the décor is looking tired and there is a smell of damp throughout the property despite our best efforts to keep it ventilated. The carpets/rugs are a bit shabby and in various rooms the wallpaper is peeling from the walls/ceilings. At least one of the dining room chairs looks to be falling apart. The Wi-Fi was a bit patchy and the washing machine was poor, although appeared fairly new. If the new owners address these issues this could be a fantastic Salcombe property
