Knapp House Cottages
A group of four wonderful holiday lodge apartments set within two wings of the Grade II listed Knapp House on the outskirts of the village of East Anstey, four miles from the town of Dulverton, known as the gateway to Exmoor. These four purpose-built Dulverton cottages each have their own unique theme and offer quality accommodation. Guests are able to wander freely in the gardens behind the house and there are benches to relax and enjoy a picnic or a glass of bubbly. Knapp House is a beautiful example of a country house designed in the Arts and Crafts style and was built as a hunting lodge in 1907. These Dulverton cottages provide a tranquil retreat from which to explore Exmoor, one of Britainís greenest National Parks. The National Park has a wealth of pretty villages and walks in open unspoilt countryside. There are National Trust properties and gardens locally, plus sandy beaches with good surfing available at Woolacombe and Croyde Bay. Taking a ride on the cliff railway at the picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth is essential. There is excellent fishing, horse riding and shooting in the area or you may just wish to relax in a village pub with a Devon cream tea or a pint of ale.

The open plan living area at this Dulverton cottage provides ample space for cooking, dining and relaxing. The split-level en-suite bathroom with deep bath is approached down a couple of steps. The spacious bedroom is a focal point and has skylight windows which allow sunlight to flood in. Note: This property is in a group with refs 7464, 8527 and 8528 and together they can accommodate 13.
