    The Cottage was excellent and the views magnificent, we had a wonderful holiday and will definitely go again in the future Nicola the owner was so helpful and kept in touch by text all the time checking that we had every thing we wanted and even after we left she forwarded on to us something that we had forgotten to pack Bryan Goddard and friends

Sightseeing from your Gloucestershire cottage

Framed by the rolling Cotswold Hills, the county town of Gloucester features a superb Gothic cathedral (backdrop in Harry Potter films), Victorian Docklands and Roman foundations - heritage sites comfortably mixing with modern-day shops and entertainment. For lots of half-timbered, Tudor houses and a graceful Norman abbey, try Tewkesbury.

Another fantastic town not-to-miss is Cheltenham Spa, known for its striking regency architecture, tree-lined streets, impressive shopping and dining, not to mention its racecourse. Book your Gloucestershire cottage early for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, a major highlight of the racing calendar and the perfect opportunity to splash out on a new frock!
