  • "Fantastic apartment for 2 people and a dog."

Excellent location. Clean, well presented, modern, and well equipped. Very comfortable though the bed could do with a mattress topper and an extra blanket would have been welcome. Great bathroom. Everything you need in the kitchen. Parking is tight but doable (reverse) and of course very handy. We would book this lovely apartment again if the bed could have more comfort and warmth.

  • "Outstanding place to stay in Keswick."

Ideal location and well designed cottage with great fit out (loved the fire!) in as new condition. cleanliness could not be faulted and to top it off the housekeeper called us after we checked out just to make sure we had intentionally left behind for trash some clothes (we had!) That all adds up to a classy accommodation option and is one of the best places we have stayed in during our four month three continent travels this year!

Very clean! The shower and bath were amazing! The dry room was an added bonus especially when holidaying in the lakes! Perfect location right next to Hope park! We will definitely be back

  • "Beautiful apartment, 4th time staying here."

Had slight problem with TV, but Angela, the wonderful housekeeper, got this sorted for us, even on a Sunday! The only downside is the very tight parking space around the back of the building, no good for a nervous C4 Picasso driver! Two other large cars parked there, so maybe its just me! Amazing location, two minutes walk to centre of town, would not hesitate to recommend Howe Keld.

Modern and clean apartment, lovely decor and all the facilities needed. Private parking but very tight, ended up parking elsewhere a couple of days. Due to the amazing location it was a little noisy on a weekend but it didn’t spoil our holiday. Thank you!

The weather was terrible during our stay and having this apartment made all the difference to our week. The apartment is modern and spacious and has been finished to a high standard. We would definitely check if it was available when next we visit Keswick.

  • "Just to say we had a great stay."

It was wonderful and very welcoming. A couple of points for feedback. The outside lights didn't come on and after inspecting the fuse board it transpires they had been turned off. Not good in the dark with difficult steps to negotiate. Secondly the central heating was set for twice a day. On the assumption that guests would be out during the day fine BUT it was Xmas holidays when the shops are shut and winter weather is bad.So to supplement the heating by asking guests to use the air heater on the electric fire only produced a dry heat that gave us both raging sore throats and kept us in bed two days. Not good. Other than that it was as good as it looked in the brochure. Thanks Garry staincliffe.

  • "The apartment was excellent providing everything needed and in a central location for Keswick."

We fully enjoyed staying in the apartment and would certainly book the apartment again in the future. The only down side is parking for Apartments 1 to 3 (we were in apartment 3). The parking area is very tight for all parking especially for apartment 3. If visitors have a large car it would be very difficult to park and have easy access getting out. There is a car park opposite but is expensive (£11 for 24 hours or £8.20 for a day plus £1 to park overnight)

Thanks for the welcome package of wine, milk and plum bread. .much appreciated after long journey from Kent. Parking takes concentration to manoeuvre in tight spacing. You get the hang of it though. All 3 apartment where immaculate and the friendly property manager is always at hand if you have any queries, even handed in a small gift and card for the birthday person. Keswick is one of our favourite holiday destinations having everything you need on your doorstep. The location was perfect very close to town and the shops, pubs and restaurants. The apartment has a car parking space to the rear of the property which is great but a little tight with a large car. Angela the on-site housekeeper was very friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment has a communal utility room in the basement with a washing machine and drying room for outdoor clothes. Somewhere close to this to clean a muddy dog would be a bonus. Would definitely return, thanks. Joanne and Tony

  • "The apartment was superb."

..really well designed with a high spec interior it had everything you could wish for. The bathroom in particular was fantastic. A wonderful deep bath to soak the muscles after a days walking... The location is fantastic, only 2 mins from town but still a quiet location. There was a parking space in the buildings car park... probably the only negative as it's a bit tricky parking a large car, but you do get used to it..you need to reverse in !! Keswick is a wonderful base, the town has LOTS of really good places to eat, the fellpack was the best and closest.. (hence we didn't use the flats lovely kitchen very much). Quick mention for Angela the housekeeper a real asset, very helpful and knowledgeable... Pointed us in the direction of the best Chinese takeaway. (Golden hills). All in all an excellent stay and we really hope to return. Thankyou!

Close enough to the town centre to be ultra convenient, but also far enough away to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and assisted with any queries we had. Can't recommend this apartment enough, and we hope to return again in the future!

  • "We loved this place."

It was absolutely spotless, the location was perfect - within 5 minutes walk of the lake one way and the town the other way. We didn’t use our car at all as there was so much to do nearby and when we did go further afield (to Windermere and Buttermere) we used the excellent bus service. The only thing we would say is that if you have a very large 4 x 4 or similar the car parking space is a little tight but otherwise is fine and there is a public car park opposite the flat in any case. The caretaker was very friendly too and we definitely hope to return soon.
