  • "I really nice property in a beautiful area"

  • "The house is amazing and everything we needed."

The property was very well equipt and spotlessly clean (probably the cleanest holiday home we have ever been to). The hot tub was a real hit with some of our party and is maintained regularly. The only downside for us as a family was the garden as it isn't fully enclosed so it isn't suitable for small children and dogs can't run free. A grassed area for children to play would have been preferable.

The house is spacious, well designed, well equipped and very comfortable, with fantastic views! We had a wheelchair user in our group and the house is very accessible. One of the best holiday houses we have stayed in!

  • "Dunearn Heights was magnificent!"

My family of nine, aged 7 to 76 had the best time. The house was beautifully clean, spacious and very well equipped. Easy to find, lots of parking space and the views across Loch Earn were breathtaking. Nearby activities we indulged in included kayaking on the Loch, a Red Deer Mountain Safari near Loch Tay, a distillery tour at Glenturren and lovely meals in Crieff and Killin. Thank you for fantastic family stay and hard earned rest in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Lots of space for us all and easy to keep clean even with children running around. Exceptional views and good equipment. Ideally situated for walks and day trips, we took the ScotRail train from Crianlarich to mallaig one day, beautiful day out. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We were using it as a central base while each day looping out on different motorbiking routes, what a great location to do that! There are lovely walks and cycle routes on the doorstep too. The owner was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed.

  • "A really beautiful property with stunning views over the Loch."

The hot tub was a great bonus, but would have benefited from somewhere to hang the towels. The accommodation was very comfortable and well laid out. We would have liked a larger teapot and a larger frying pan and I’m sure if we had asked for these they would have been provided. Would love to go there again.

  • "Have hired many cottages and this is probably the best equipped one we have stayed in."

The hot tub was not advertised when we booked but was a lovely surprise and well used by us. The owner serviced the tub every day but was completely unobtrusive. There was an issue with one of the electric sockets with the shower and the owner once notified was there immediately with an electrician. We really can’t fault this property or the owners response, he was very friendly.

  • "This is a lovely property with amazing views over Loch Earn from the garden, living accommodation and 2 of the bedrooms."

The accommodation is bright and spacious and fitted to an excellent standard. There are a couple of pubs/hotels within walking distance but we chose to eat in each night. The kitchen is large and well equipped and, with 2 ovens and 2 hobs, even a full roast dinner was easy to prepare. The owner, Finlay, met us on arrival and helpfully showed us how everything worked. He also gave us a brief guide to the area including where to shop for food and local walks. We had a lovely week, which even the weather couldn’t spoil, and were sad to leave that amazing view.

  • "Wow. Although we arrived in not the best of weather, you are immediately knocked out by the location and stunning views."

We were greeted by the owner, who allowed us to have a look around unguided, and then took me around and explained the need to knows, (Heating, Laundry etc.) He is also locally placed if any problems do arise. The property itself is contemporary and built to a very high spec. with ample living and dining space. The kitchen is well appointed and it was great having two ovens and hobs, so no problems cooking for a large group. (An added bonus of having a second fridge/freezer in the laundry room for chilling wine and beer, so not taking up space in the kitchen) All the party reported that the beds were really comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and had more than ample hanging and storage space. The en suite and bathroom facilities were all clean and well appointed. The overall impressions of the the property itself are excellent The outside features are very good with a basketball area, table tennis and swingball provided. We adults took full advantage of the jacuzzi of an evening, but due to cost, this may be its last season. There is ample parking beside the property (we had four vehicles) Comparing this property with other properties that we have stayed at, this is at the top of the list. For any groups wishing to enjoy all that this area of Scotland has to offer, or just to get away and chill in stunning surroundings, then I would highly recommend a stay at Dunearn Hights.

  • "From the moment we arrived everything was fabulous."

To be greeted by Finlay and shown around the house was really helpful. We booked a Tesco delivery for when we arrived which really helped as the larger supermarkets are a few miles away. The house was clean, well equipped and big enough to accommodate 9 of us and 2 dogs really comfortably. The neighbours were super friendly and having the Loch within walking distance was amazing. We used the water sports centre a few times and swam in the Loch. Home takes some beating for us but Dunern Heights excelled expectation! A holiday home we will definitely recommend!!! Best views in the village for sure and a lot of very special memories to treasure.
