"A beautiful cottage, lovely and clean, a well equipped kitchen and a well maintained garden."
A thoughtful welcome gift of bread, cake and milk upon arrival. As soon as you enter the front door you fall in love with it's charm of low ceilings and little doorways, really cosy. As you climb the stairs there is a super-kingsize bed which is very comfy and as you go through another door way there is a lovely dressing room. Not to far to drive for days out or to get to the beach. We had a lovely break and would definitely recommend Storehouse Cottage.

"We loved our week long stay on the 12/8/24 in this amazing little authentic cottage."
So much so my wife wanted to stay longer.
We will definitely be back again for another week, especially as the Queens Head Foodie pub is right outside the cottage gate .

"StoreHouse Cottage is a lovely small cottage."
I had a very nice, peaceful and relaxing stay there. It felt warm and welcoming. The Kitchen was well equipped and surprisingly spacious. The Bathroom was far bigger than I was expecting - it was for me the best room in the cottage. The lounge and bedroom are joined by a stairway without a door between - ok for me on my own - I didnt mind it. The Lounge was the right size to sit and watch telly, but not much spare space. The gas fire was very comforting. The armchairs were ok but a little tired. The Bedroom was just big enough to not feel cramped but was slightly cold. The bed was very comfortable. No wardrobe space - thats in the dressing room. The dressing room, the door was lower than shoulder height for me - I didnt use this room - but I didnt need it. Parking was a bit tight on the road but I was never without a space. The village is tiny and quiet. A good base to explore North Wales. The pub opposite was very friendly, good beer, good food, needs booking, not cheap but worthwhile. I had a lovely stay at StoreHouse Cottage, a nice peaceful quiet break. Just what I wanted. Thank you.

"Cottage was delightful, parking was horrendous."
The arm chairs need more cushioning to sit on. Chairs not very comfortable. We had to wash saucepans before we could use them. More cooking utensils would be desirable, large serving spoon. Glass or plastic jug. Gardener turned up unannounced, the only time we sat outside we had to go in. Possibly a clothes line so didn't have to use tumble drier. TV and internet good. We didnt mind the spiders. Bed super comfy. Would recommend to friends. Flowers were a delightful surprise and welcome cake xx

This place is beautiful and perfect for a countryside getaway. Beautifully kept, clean and everything you need. The touches of the cake and milk just made it even more special. We were lucky with the weather so made good use of the table and chairs outside. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

"Lovely cottage with everything you would need."
Well-tended pretty garden. Worth mentioning the low doorways which weren't a problem for us but perhaps would be for anyone over 5ft 7.
Location is in the countryside with a lovely pub close by and only a short walk or cycle in to Penhryn Bay.
Perfect property for visiting the North Wales coast and countryside by bike, on foot or by car

"Was a wonderful time!"
Thank you for such a lovely stay and the little extra touches provided (Victoria Sponge was to die for). The location is perfect for those who enjoy walks through the countryside and into town. My only recommendation would be to add to the listing that the TV upstairs is DVD only to allow guest option to bring some DVDs along.

Lovely stay. It was above and beyond thank you very much to the owners! Wifi worked well, hot and cold water. TV offered a range of channels. Heating was easy to use and worked. Don't think twice just book it. Kitchen with all the utensils. Seriously, you will not be disappointed!

"Cottage is lovely."
We felt the downstairs of the cottage very cold while the bedroom was warm, definitely not a place to stay during winter months. Seating provided in sitting room while keeping with cottage theme we found very uncomfortable and unable to relax in. Bedroom on the other hand was so comfortable with huge bed . Our other big issue was the stairs, they were so steep with vey little room on each step. Kitchen facilities could not be faulted but again felt cold the whole time.

I am a travel agency owner in Canada and I will absolutely be sending my clients to stay here at Storehouse Cottage.
The bedding was comfortable, the property had all we needed and oozed in charm.
A great base to explore the coast and mountains of North Wales, also just a quick 40 minute drive from Chester in England.
Highly recommend this cottage for up to three guests.

"Lovely cottage next to a fabulous pub."
Two adults and a small child this suited us for a week. Great base for North Wales.
Worth being aware there is a lot of stooping under low beams/arches throughout the property which did get a bit tiring after a week! And also resulted in several knocks to the head! Also worth noting the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom are pretty steep, especially for middle of the night bathroom calls.

"Everything about the cottage, it's location & facilities was excellent."
From the moment the owner took the trouble to come & meet us at the cottage bearing gifts of milk & a Victoria sponge we knew we had booked the right place for our only holiday of 2020.
The icing on the cake was the The Queens Head pub situated directly opposite the cottage where the owner Andy & his staff made us extremely welcome, served us with excellent food four of the seven nights we stayed, & even fitted us in one evening although we had not booked a table.
Well done to everyone involved in making our first experience of visiting Wales a thoroughly enjoyable one.

"This cottage is a lovely cozy cottage."
Me and my family just got back today (2 days early) from what was meant to be a 7 day break.
As I said, the cottage is smashing and in a nice quiet location.
Sadly the cottage unfortunately had more than its fair share of spiders. It also had quite a few wood louse and other creepy crawlies. The first couple of days without exaggeration we must have put 15 to 20 spiders out each day so on the 3rd day after some Google research we discovered that peppermint oil was a kind of deterrent so we smothered the place in the stuff which made the cottage very minty but it worked to an extent but by the end of day 4 the spiders, wood louse and some flies started appearing again. Later on the 4th night, we saw a couple of earwigs scurrying about so we put them out. This made our mind up to come home early on the 5th day.. I'm not usually bothered by this type of thing but it became quite ridiculous and creepy. Also, there isn't much storage for your clothing and the WiFi is fantastic if that's important to you.
To summerise it is a lovely quaint cottage but I would not return unless I was convinced the spider/bugs problem was sorted.

"A really beautiful cottage, perfect setting - right next to a wonderful gastro-pub."
It is within easy access of all North Wales has to offer. The cottage has a fabulous six foot bed with, down pillows and duvet, the kitchen is very well equipped. The only tiny negative comment would be that the living room had two big arm chairs, no sofa, so we couldn't sit together in our perfect little love nest! However this really wouldn't stop us booking again - every detail had been considered.
