  • "The apartment exceeded expectations, even better in real life than in the photos."

Everything was spotlessly clean and looked brand new. The bed in the larger bedroom (the only one we used) was large and extremely comfortable. Hopefully we will be back to stay again before too long.

Thank you for your feedback John, so pleased you enjoyed your break and hope to see you again! Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely flat!"

It is very spacious and well equipped as well as spotlessly clean. Two double beds was a bonus that we were delighted with! Travelling as a two it is quite difficult to find a reasonably priced place with two doubles rather than one double and then single beds. My sister is eternally grateful

Really pleased you and your sister enjoyed your break Liz, thank you for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "Immaculate and tastefully appointed and comfortable accommodation."

Although accommodation on main street; access and outlook was excellent. Owners welcome pack "very welcome" and tasty. We are very pleased to recommend Amble Watch and Amble town to anyone planning to visit- our first time. Although no specific car parking; as had been advised, plenty nearby parking- loading/unloading no problem.

Thanks for the feedback Bob, it was lovely to meet you and Brenda and hope to see you again! Property Owner

It was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Communication with the owners was excellent and they thoughtfully provided milk, wine and biscuits to welcome us. Amble is an interesting small town and we ate delicious and memorable meals at The Old Boathouse and The Fish Shack. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

About the location

AMBLE

Warkworth 1 mile; Alnmouth 4 miles.

The bustling little seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters. There is a fish centre on the side of the harbour that is now primarily a shell fish hatchery to re-stock levels of lobster and other shell fish, this sells local fish and is open to the public. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks and boat trips around the island can be arranged. The pretty coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster and numerous superb beaches are only a short drive away, whilst picturesque Warkworth with its castle, charming Alnwick with its castle and award-winning gardens, and the National Trust’s Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.
