  • "We came back on the Monday evening this site is quite isolated and on a country lane with a bend to the left and to the right not safe for a walk or a walk with a dog there was a paddock on site but apart from that it was get in the car and drive about six miles to the dog friendly beach at weston."

Even the places next north and south was not dog friendly.yes it had a private garden but not secure gate to the road needed to be open all the time so you needed to keep your eye on the dog at all times as farm traffic was passing at speed.to get any supplies it was a need to get in the car.its not a holiday when you take all those things into account

  • "Suited our needs very well."

Property is modestly size but has everything you need for 4 people including two en-suite bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was functional lacking perhaps a freezer for longer stays. As it was Christmas, property was decorated tastefully and small hamper provided, both nice touches.

The site is lovey and quiet but close enough to Brean, Weston and Burnham that you can get to all within 10 minutes. The whole family had a lovely time and were very sad to go home on the last day. Will definitely be returning in the future.

  • "What a fabulous stay!"

! Very clean and charming cottages with everything you could possibly need for a long stay. We are a family of four (2 children under 5) that booked a 7 day stay over the holiday season at Hope Farm and will definitely be recommending and returning to the cottages when visiting Family locally.

  • "We thought the cottage was comfortable and had everything you need for a short break."

The toiletries, welcome hamper and jug of milk was a lovely unexpected touch. The location is great for exploring Somerset and was easy to find. Really peaceful area and nice garden. The only negatives are the cottage could do with a little extra dusting, we were disappointed the games room was out of order as we didn't know until we went in to use it and the lock on Cart House was flimsy so the security could be upgraded there a bit. But we would stay there again as from what we understand the property was taken over by new owners earlier this year and they are making improvements.

  • "I stayed here for my wedding in September 2022."

I was getting married at Yarlington Barn, which is just around the corner from this accommodation. It was absolutely perfect! I stayed here with 3 of my bridesmaids the night before and with my husband the night of my wedding. On the morning of the wedding, we had a total of 14 people in the accommodation once hair, makeup, and photographers (we checked with the owners beforehand that this was OK) had arrived and it wasn't cramped at all and had everything we all needed! It was very clean and the owners were absolutely lovely and accommodating. Would love to stay again!

  • "Had a lovely stay at hope farm the family are are very friendly and helpful."

On arrival the cottage was clean and the welcome pack was a very nice touch . We took our dog along she had her own little welcome with her own blanket a food bowl and a doggie treat . The cottage was a good size with everything you need for your stay and everything on one level . There is a laundry room on site and even a washing line . There was also a chest freezer within the laundry room if you run out of space in your freezer compartment in your fridge. We found the large dog area at the rear of the property very useful for our dog to have a good runaround and she made friends with the owners dog Oreo who is absolutely adorable! And so were the horses ! We have two teenagers who both have autism and they loved the games room and spent a fair amount of time in there when we weren’t out and about. Location wise the cottage was a short drive to supermarkets, the many beaches ,pubs and the village is near too. We were able to order a couple of take aways too we even had a Sunday roast delivered by a local company called Baked which was outstanding ! All in all we had a very relaxing enjoyable stay and we will definitely return again ! Many thanks to Jane , Dave and Mia for a lovely stay !! From Paula , Steve and girls x

Outside sitting area with picnic bench is perfect for sunny days as is small children's play area. The Games Room has a good variety of activities. Some days I brought her out to the Carthouse for a few hours. I couldn't have stayed at a better place. Jane and Dave were so very helpful and seeing the horse, rabbit at close quarters and playing with Oreo helped make it. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with plenty of space and the linen and towels were like new, really good quality and size. Will definitely be back.
