  • "Property was bad due to flies congregating inside caused by septic tank outside the front door we lived in a rural area a wooden bungalow septic tank and never had flies like this one."

No teapot or bread bin or easy access to cupboard storage for food. Oven and microwave difficult to use. Electric tripped when kettle and water boiler used at the same time. Dining table attached by hinges to the wall far too heavy to move we put it down and left it loosing to use of one armchair. No replacement pedal bin liners So we left early after five days of our seven day holiday. This was a recuperation break for my husband after open heart surgery unfortunately it didn't work out as planned so we now need another holiday This is an honest description of our stay and I recommend visitors check carefully before booking

  • "A gem of a place."

Beautiful location, peace and quiet, but yet so handy for the local town and facilities. The cabin is bijou and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. We had the best sleep in months. If you are a fan of "Tiny Houses" and stripping back to basics (or just curious) - this is an excellent experience. Penny the owner is very welcoming and helpful. If you need to recharge your batteries, commune with hens, and just chill watching a robotic grasscutter (we were mesmerised - we don't get out much!) - this place is for you.

What a lovely review to read. Thank you very much, We're so pleased you had an enjoyable stay. Hope to welcome you back again soon. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Really impressed with the property."

It was really warm and welcoming including a small basket of goodies, spotlessly clean. Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay due to my wives health issue relapsing. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Just one small thought that perhaps there could be a couple of folding tray tables as we found it a little difficult to eat off our knees.

  • "Penny and Pete are lovely owners, they always check all is okay and also respect your space."

The cabin is fantastic for two people and we also brought our doggy. We found all very clean and full equipped, they also provide toilet paper and towels. The electric issue that some people mentioned is not a problem, as soon as, you do not shower at the same time you use the kettle, all works perfectly. The cabin is next to a stream, peaceful and hands off phones as there is low signal, so perfect to clear your mind and run out of city life. It is also next to Haverfordwest, so food places and stores at only 10 min driving and you will find touristic places and beaches in only 20 min by car. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

  • "Lovely cabin in a very quiet, remote spot."

Could point out that a car is essential as sadly no walks or routes in the immediate vicinity. Eggs were fresh and delicious in hamper , thank you! But the scarf , also in hamper - was that for us?!? Also unsure about sparkling drink and crisps. The place would benefit from less minimalist supplies: Soap, salt/pepper, a handful of teabags and coffee. Milk instead of sparkling drink. Hairdryer missing TV not working All these are minor things but make a major difference. When booking a cottage, the supply of consumables varies widely - perhaps be a bit mor specific on website. With the price for a weekend on the higher end, I had expected at least some of the above consumables.

  • "The accommodation was lovely, the owners very helpful and friendly."

It is a great location to explore the SW corner of Pembrokeshire and plenty to do and we will return one day. We were going to take our dog with us but previous reviews mentioned that the garden was not secure and that is the case. We would not have been able to let him out off the lead but that might not be an issue for all dogs.

The shower was good though the other hot water arrangements were problematical. The cooker and the microwave were fine but the "small fridge" was in fact a very small chiller unit which was not adequate when we were a long way from any shops (and not really wanting to have to go shopping at the present time.)
