From the minute we arrived, the owner was warm and welcoming. The lodge itself is amazing. Spacious, well equipped and decorated impeccably. There is a huge amount of space, every need is catered for. Great hot tub which was well used, plenty of local information, lovely local walks and villages. We ate at the local pub The Stanwick Inn which is also to be highly recommended.

Ms Harvey, Darlington, March 2014

We booked Holly Moor Lodge before the pictures were available, and after seeing the house I have to say that the pictures do not do it justice. Holly Moor Lodge is a great place to stay with friends as there is so much space, the main room where the kitchen is located being our favourite. The games room was a hit with us all and the hot tub was great.

Mr Stansfield, Manchester, February 2014

The house was a great place for a fun weekend with lots of extras to keep us entertained - guitars, keyboard and video games. The huge open kitchen and lounge area was brilliant for entertaining and we all stayed together in there while the cooking was going on. The hot tub was just gorgeous - yes, even in February. The bedrooms upstairs are sufficiently cut off from the main living area so that people wanting an earlier night could sleep and not be disturbed by those wanting to stay up later.

Mrs Halksworth, Wigan, February 2014

A great property to catch up with friends. We stayed with two other families. The rooms are great for the kids, especially the games room. The garden and hot tub were an added bonus.
