Just Show Me Thornton Le Dale Cottages


Looking for a truly picturesque spot to relax and enjoy the countryside? Consider a Thornton-le-Dale holiday cottage, just a couple of miles east of Pickering and gateway to the North York Moors National Park.

This picturesque village has a number of much-loved features such as its small triangular green (used for concerts in summer), market cross, traditional stocks and babbling stream. There's also a gorgeous thatched cottage 'Beck Isle', so rare in these parts and regularly photographed, appearing on jigsaws and calendars as much as personal cameras! And to cope with its many visitors, the village is well-stocked with welcoming watering holes, cafés and gift shops.
