Just Show Me Log Cabins For Fishing Holidays
Looking for a truly relaxing holiday where you can get close to nature and really escape? Then consider a fishing holiday in a log cabin.
The surroundings are perfect. Interiors are inviting and cosy thanks to the blend of warm, natural wood. Many are open-plan and great for entertaining with friends and family. Exteriors, meanwhile, often feature wrap-around terraces, sometimes with a view of a lake or marina, and sometimes with the added luxury of a private hot tub.
And then there's the setting. Some of our fishing log cabins are located on exclusive parks, offering well-stocked lakes and marinas as well as other on-site facilities like shops, bars, children's play areas etc. If you're a beginner, look out for basic angling courses and hire tackle locally - or treat the kids to a lesson so they can join you in your favourite pastime.
A typical day on a fishing log cabin holiday may start with a generous cooked breakfast, followed by a lazy day by the lake or river, rod in hand. Think peace and quiet, just you and your fellow slippery friends. From pike to perch, catfish to carp, cast your rod and land your catch then retreat to your delightful wooden cabin for drinks on the terrace or, if winter's drawing in, check out the wood-burning stove and toast those toes!
