Goldsithney Cottages
Just inland from the south coast, around four miles from
Penzance, our Goldsithney holiday
cottages offer relaxing retreats whether you're planning a
family summer holiday or winter escape for two.
This delightful village is within walking distance of the
coastal path, gateway to miles of spectacular scenery and
picturesque fishing villages. You'll be at the lovely beach of
Perranuthnoe in no time at all, great for surfing and sandcastles.
Another spot to seek out is the wonderfully secluded beach at
Prussia Cove, once a great smuggling haunt.
Amazing coastal attractions
Or step out to Marazion and across to St.
Michael's Mount, a beguiling island reached via causeway or
boat. Trace the giant's steps then unravel layers of history
and legend. Tour the castle, eat ice-cream in the gardens and soak
up those panoramic coastal views. Venture further along the coast
to Penzance and break for lunch in one of the many eateries along
the prom. Or swap boots for wheels and drive down to Land's End
or across to St. Ives for art at The Tate.
Lovers of birdlife will head for Marazion's marshes or the
estuary at Hayle, both rich in feathered friends. Wine
connoisseurs, meanwhile, make note of the Polgoon Vineyard and
Cider Orchard, where you can sample and buy award-winning tipples,
as well as jams, honey, eggs and fudge - great for stocking the
larder of your holiday let in Goldsithney!
Back in the village a stone's throw from your Goldsithney
holiday rental are two village pubs, general stores and Post
Office, handy for all your holiday needs.
