Par Holiday Cottages
Next time you're planning a trip to Cornwall, consider a stay in
one of our Par holiday cottages, located in and around a small
harbour town, right on the edge of 'Clay Country' and
roughly midway between St. Austell and Fowey.
On the doorstep of our Par holiday homes...
If you like walking you're in for a treat. First up are the
sleepy lanes and footpaths of the Luxulyan Valley, a World Heritage
Site. Within about an hour, you'll reach the Eden Project -
expect hot, sticky rainforests, Mediterranean vineyards, a
tummy-turning zip wire, top name musicians, children's
entertainment and more!
Or follow the coastal path along to Fowey, taking
in the beautiful Gribbin Peninsula, crowned with a striking red and
white striped beacon and fringed with idyllic coves. Writer Daphne
du Maurier spent much time here - perhaps you, too, will be
inspired to pen your holiday adventure!
Or peddle along the Clay Trail Cycle Routes to the Wheal Martyn
Museum, easily accessible from our Par holiday lets and a great
place to find out about the region's 200-year-old mining
history.
Other places of interest a few miles from our Par holiday
rentals include the Lost Gardens of Heligan, an estate rich in
wildlife and featuring a National Collection of camellias and
rhododendrons. Not forgetting the port of Charlestown, famous for its
amazing assortment of tall ships.
Spend a day on Par Sands Beach, backed by rolling sand dunes and
over half a mile long - great for paddling, bathing and for walks
with your faithful hound (dog friendly year round).
Round off your day relaxing at the local inn, offering quality
ales, wide selection of food, children's play area and regular
entertainment.
Please
find below a selection of self catering holiday cottages to rent in
