The town boasts a castle, museum, churches, an indoor market hall, good shops and a multitude of pubs and restaurants, as well as playing host to the internationally renowned food festival each September. Enjoy beautiful walks through the Wye Valley, along the Brecon Canal or explore the breathtaking Brecon Beacons. We had a lovely stay at 'The Cider House'. It was very clean and although the weather was cold, the heating was excellent. The property was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were of a good size, especially the lounge which was huge with a nice flat TV on the wall. Would happily recommend it.
