The small hamlet of Mickleton is situated in the heart of beautiful Teesdale, close to the villages of Romaldkirk and Middleton in Teesdale and within a few miles of the market town of Barnard Castle. Mickleton itself consists of a cluster of stone houses along a single street and offers two pubs. Beautiful walking country is right on the doorstep with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, The River Tees and magnificent waterfalls at High Force all close by.

A superb detached stone-built cottage, situated in a meadow on the edge of Mickleton, with magnificent views over the valley of the River Tees and surrounding countryside. Created by the thoughtful conversion of an old barn, the cottage is spacious, light and airy and contains many original exposed beams. The sitting room has a feature 'picture window' with window seat. A cottage offering something special for the discerning visitor.
Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x queen-size double with en-suite shower room, 1 x twin. Extra bed available on request. Four piece bathroom with shower over bath. Downstairs WC. Superb, well equipped kitchen with separate dining area. Utility room. Spacious sitting room with log-effect gas stove.
Oil central heating with gas stove in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, automatic washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, CD player, radio. The cottage is superbly located for a relaxing holiday. Excellent views in all directions and peace and quiet to go with it. Ideally situated for exploring the Dales and the Lake district. A lovely time was had by all!

Attractive, comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped cottage in a peaceful location with lovely views but within walking distance of pubs/restaurants in the village. Lots to do and see within reasonable driving distance. Very friendly, helpful people.
