  • "A warm welcome from Mrs Roberts."

A clean and comfortable place to stay. The large bed was super comfortable. A nice garden to sit in during the warm weather with good garden furniture. We look forward to returning next year.

  • "My wife and I had a lovely time staying at Berllys."

The owner promptly greeted us on our arrival and we received a very warm, friendly welcome. Berllys is a cosy and relaxing holiday annex and would be ideal for a family break, in my opinion, 4 adults may find it a little small. We were extremely pleased with it though and it is well equipped with ample utensils, crockery etc. We could not locate a cheese grater but that is really a small matter. The annex was tidy and adequately clean for our arrival, though there was an empty plastic drinks bottle under the kitchen table and used pillow case on the floor of the bedroom upstairs. Again, small matters, but maybe the cleaning staff could be more thorough. Don't get me wrong, we did really love the flat/annex and would return again! Location wise, you cannot rent a better property. Extremely close to the town centre, railway and bus stops and all of Criccieth's many wonders.

Great parking on private drive, lovely owner who made sure we had what we needed.

  • "The property was a joy to stay in and the owner was a lovely lady, friendly, full of good ideas for places to go and if we had a problem both quick and eager to sort it out straight."

We had a fantastic week, with a large amount of walks right outside the door step. At the end of the day we would come back and dined in the garden or took tea whilst lounging on the comfortable chairs provided, looking and the very pleasant flowers around us. A visit from the owners tortoise was a welcome addition. We would most definitely be going back.

  • "The property had quite a few dead insects behind the furniture and beds."

There were many spiders throughout the stay. The house overall was very cluttered and many of the owners items had to be moved or put away to use the space. There is a clothes washer but no dryer which is fine but the clothesline is made of old synthetic line which has deteriorated and leaves white residue and debris over all of the clothes you hang on it. The owner was lovely and very helpful and responsive but the property needs a deep clean and bug/spider treatment before renting to new tenants.
