Even more pints are on offer at the Yorkshire Festival of Ales, a
tongue-tickling celebration held in nearby Fearby. There's also
a traditional steam rally, complete with travelling organs and
can-can dancers; a sheep fair in Masham's huge market square; a
horse festival; a biennial festival of arts and an authentic
Victorian market in December - great for Christmas shopping!
Street markets have been held in Masham since 1393 and every

tearoom, restaurant or pub.

And remember to pack your boots! The best way to explore Masham
