A cosy stone built, end of terrace cottage, in a central location less than a minute's walk from Barnoldswick town centre, just eight miles from Skipton.

Recently fully renovated this delightful cottage is full of character and charm, making an ideal romantic retreat or a couple wishing to explore this historic and lovely area.

With high quality workmanship throughout this old cottage boasts quality fittings with oak panelled doors, hand made oak cupboards and great attention to detail.

The ground floor is completely open plan with a modern well equipped kitchen, dining area and stylish seating area with open plan staircase leading to the first floor.

The main bedroom is warm and cosy and there is a stylish shower room, making this a perfect little holiday retreat.

All the amenities of the town are close at hand including a good range of restaurants, local pubs, including the Cellar Bar and the Fountain Inn, both providing live music and a friendly atmosphere.

The local walks are some of the best in the area with the walk to the summit of Weets Hill, a local favourite, from where on a good clear day Blackpool Tower can be seen, or at least that's what the locals claim.

For the more energetic who enjoy a challenge, the walk to Pendle Hill, of Pendle Witch fame, is another great challenge.

The walk across open meadows to the old Roman road, and the canal walks to West Marton and Salterforth are also firm favourites in the area.

Nearby is the fabulous Trough of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with outstanding Gastropubs in almost every village.

For the more energetic, the bike riding and walking opportunities to be found in the surrounding area are excellent.

Nearby Skipton is a short drive and provides a four day market, award winning high street and an award winning fish and chip shop, to name but a few of the attractions of this popular old market town.

The old market town of Barnoldswick sits amongst beautiful rolling countryside in the Pennine hills on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border, just eight miles from Skipton, the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. A thriving town known affectionately to locals as Barlick - lies at the very heart of England and is proud of its in manufacturing history, from a significant textile industry through to today's aero engines built at the Rolls Royce factory. Pennine cycle and bridleway routes pass through the town and the superb summit stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal meanders through the town and the thriving marina. Wonderful walking countryside abounds with the rolling heather moorland of Weets and Pendle hill boasting some of the finest views in the country, excellent walks along the old Roman road at Brogden Lane and the canal towpath provides great walking and cycling opportunities. The town offers lots of local shops serving an array of local produce with baked artisan loaves gracing bakers windows and locally reared meat on butchers blocks. With Britain's best inland urban beach, Barnoldswick is famed for its free family friendly activities. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted Skipton High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon Brewery, opened in 2002 is highly rated in the CAMRA listings. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the one mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short distance away. In 2014 the area hosted the first leg of the Tour de France, bringing in many visitors from far and wide to this wonderful area.
