Malvern Cottages

Just show me Malvern Cottages

From gentle strolls to day-long rambles, there's nowhere better for a walking holiday than a cottage in the Malverns.

Exceptionally beautiful, the Malvern Hills form a dramatic ridge along the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border - nine miles of ancient rocks crisscrossed with around 100 miles of paths to explore at your leisure, plus natural wells to quench your thirst with spring water. The views will blow your mind - some say you can see fifteen counties from the top of Worcestershire Beacon!

Such untamed beauty has inspired great names like Lewis, Tolkein, Auden and the region's celebrated son Elgar, who composed his masterpiece 'Pomp & Circumstance' in honour of these slopes. Today, you too can marvel at this truly wild - indeed truly spine-tingling natural landscape.

You may opt to book a Malvern cottage during the Malvern Hills Walking Festival. Or to celebrate a special occasion - you could even hire a classic car. Or perhaps you'd like to enjoy one of the many other outdoor pursuits here - kite flying, mountain biking, orienteering, horse riding, scuba diving and, for those with no fear of heights, hang-gliding!

Other attractions near your Malvern cottage

Historic treasures abound and highlights include Great Malvern Priory with its exquisite medieval tiles, as well as Eastnor Castle, offering lakeside walks, children's adventure course, deer park and arboretum. For shopping, restaurants, music and top-class theatre, head for the charming spa town of Great Malvern. This is also where you'll find the home of the Morgan Sports Car, meticulously built by hand - pre-book a fully guided factory tour and experience 100 years of driving passion!
