Just show me South Devon Cottages
Welcome to a wonderfully rural corner of England. A place where

Much of the region is an AONB or owned by the National Trust so
expect amazing coastal scenery whichever way you trek. Choose from

Dawlish Warren. Hop on the sea tractor to Burgh Island from
Bigbury-on-Sea. Go surfing at Bantham and sailing at Salcombe. Or
head inland to the wild granite slopes of Dartmoor for wonderful
walking, cycling, riding and more. Add golf, canoeing, rock
climbing...you're sure to find an activity for everyone.
High-hedged lanes weave across the green landscape linking
sleepy hamlets and historic market towns. Discover their charm,
perhaps planning your South Devon cottage stay to coincide with a
colourful festival. Highlights include summertime regattas, the
South Devon Crab Festival (a fabulous water carnival so rare to
find these days) and the Dartmouth Food Festival, a three-day
extravaganza celebrating the region's best food, drink and
culture.
What else? Attractions of every sort from roller coasters and
castles to railways and chilli farms. And last, but not least, this
glorious area is blessed with one of the mildest climates in the UK
