  • "Would definitely recommend ?"

??? We booked last minute for a few days away with two teenagers and two dogs! The caravan was spacious with lovey views and lots of places to visit just a short drive away! We had the best time and wish we had stayed for longer. The view in the morning while the sunrising on the Loch is beautiful. Thank you

  • "The accommodation was cosy."

The children room was delightful with lovely single beds, and our daughter loved it. All the necessary things were available from the kitchen utensils to the bathroom accessories (even though we brought ours). The caravan has a homely atmosphere to it and comfy. The owner was very helpful and always available to answer our questions.

Thanks so much for the fantastic review! We hope to see you again soon! Many thanks, James Property Owner

  • "Had a fantastic week staying at this caravan in wigbay."

The place was immaculate and nothing was too much hassle for the owner. Very responsive and happy to accommodate our late checkout request. The bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. The area itself is stunning, you're a 2 minute walk from the beach which is great for the dogs. We drove through to portpatriek for the afternoon which was gorgeous. Overall, highly recommend this caravan and location! We'll definitely be back! Sandra & Bill

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the owner, who was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made me feel right at home. The caravan itself was nothing short of impeccable. It was evident that great care and attention to detail had been taken to ensure a pristine and comfortable environment. Every corner of the caravan was spotless, and the cleanliness was truly remarkable. It was evident that the owner takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for their guests. The interior of the caravan was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings were comfortable, and the layout was thoughtfully designed to maximize space and functionality. I particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything I needed to prepare meals during my stay. It was a joy to come back to such a well-maintained and comfortable space after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Highly Recommended!

This well-presented two-bedroom mid-lounge caravan offers a comfortable and practical base for a seaside break, set just a short stroll from the shores of Loch Ryan.

Ideal for couples, friends or small families, the property combines convenience with a welcoming layout, making it easy to settle in and unwind.

The caravan features two thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, comprising a double and a twin, both benefitting from their own en-suite shower rooms with a WC.

This added privacy makes it particularly well-suited to groups sharing, allowing everyone their own space without compromise.

The central lounge area provides a sociable hub to relax after a day of exploring, while the adjoining kitchen space is well-equipped for preparing simple meals.

Outside, there is parking available, and the property welcomes pets, so four-legged companions can join in on the getaway too.

With Loch Ryan just moments away, guests can enjoy waterside walks and fresh coastal air right on the doorstep.

On-site, a range of facilities adds to the appeal, including a swimming pool, laundrette, bar and restaurant, offering both convenience and entertainment throughout your stay.

The surrounding area provides plenty to see and do, with the harbour town of Stranraer nearby, offering shops, eateries and access to local transport links.

Regular bus services connect the site to the town and train station, making it easy to explore further afield.

STRANRAER

Portpatrick 8 miles; Newton Stewart 25 miles.

Stranraer, which became a Burgh of Barony in 1596 and a Royal Burgh in 1617, lies on the shores of Loch Ryan on the northern side of the isthmus joining the Rhins of Galloway to the mainland. There are many shops and cafes to while away an hour or two and the Stranraer Town Trail explains some of the fascinating history. For walkers, the Southern Upland Way touches Stranraer on its way through the Galloway Hills, having begun in Portpatrick, 7 miles to the west. Three nearby gardens are open to the public and well worth a visit at Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and Logan. Stranraer has several beaches, however it is worth travelling to Sandhead and New England Bay for wonderful sandy beaches. A short drive south and you come to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s southernmost point. The lighthouse on the headland looks over some of the last remaining sections of natural coastal habitat on the Galloway coast and an RSPB nature reserve has been set up to retain this spectacular and diverse area.
