Bella's Beach Cottage

It is a good sign of a wonderful holiday when the feeling of sadness at check out time is strong.

We loved our stay at Bella's Beach Cottage and hope to return someday. Dining in the kitchen admiring that wonderful view of the beach is a memory cherished. We are grateful that the cottage was dog friendly. Ten out of ten for me.

The photos don't do this place justice, stunningly beautiful location that cleanses the soul and allows you to breathe in this claustrophobic world- reminded me of Local Hero.

Property was well maintained, clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay- bedrooms were spacious and we made good use of the outdoor patio area. 7 year old Granddaughter with ASD and ADHD loved the place and the people of the village, she was constantly entertained and calmed by the magical atmosphere of this wonderful place. We hope to visit again and often.

This Cottage is a perfect location just over a little road to the beach , lovely views from the kitchen window , The only things things that let it down was the cleanliness, the kitchen skirting boards were really dirty and there were crumbs under the table .

Dust in other rooms too. The cottage smelt a bit musty . Having said this I would love to return to the cottage if the cleaning was improved. Also the garden didn’t have a gate so was a struggle with the dog .

This was a wonderful find.

Even in stormy November the property was warm and cosy. We absolutely loved the proximity of the beach and never bored of watching the ever changing views. Big thank you!

Great short break!

Arrived early evening after an 8 hour journey and the best compliment I can give is it felt like home when we walked through the door, and our two Westies, settled just as quickly, which was a mark of just how welcoming the cottage is.

Brilliant location next to the beach and calming rumble of the waves…..and this is all you can hear which is pure bliss….. Great walks along the beaches which were often empty, all the while often being watched by the seals….. Everything you need is in the cottage and the Welcome Pack was a great touch……and the Black Book has all the info you need about staying in St Combs…..Fraserburgh is a short distance away with a supermarket, and an excellent Butcher and a marvellous Fish shop, as they say ‘ if you know you know’.. I cannot recommend Bella’s Cottage enough, and the quiet location of St Combs…..the cottage is not sterile but for us that is what made it the best place we could have stayed. We are hoping to return sometime soon, especially as Annie and Hetty have the blues, running free on the beach beats walking on the lead in the city…..

Cottage is cosy, all you need to relax after a day out walking.

Beautiful , clean house , well maintained and very cosy.

On arrival the house was warm and bread and milk in fridge , couldn’t fault the property at all. The view of the sea from both kitchen windows is an added bonus , the property is only 80 meters from the beach .

Walking into the kitchen every morning to an amazing view of the beach was such a pleasure. Helpful local information and advice from owner. Well equipped cottage and coastal walks from the doorstep.

We had a wonderful stay at Bellas Beach Cottage, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed and more.

The Bedrooms were very big and spacious, beds and pillows very comfortable. The view overlooking the beach was outstanding and made us sad to leave. The Owner was lovely and really helpful with local knowledge and recommendations. The dogs had the best time too. We would love to return next year if not sooner. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

Booked this last year, reviews were great and looked beautiful, on arrival view was amazing, cottage inside was another story , the place had a musty , smell , had definitely not been cleaned, mould , dust everywhere, bottom room smelled of urine, toilet cisterns coming off walls, mould and marks all over blinds upstairs , had to go buy cleaning stuff and cleaned ourself, had to also buy cutlery as not enough for 6 people, dining room also only has 5 chairs so 1 person had to stand or go to living room on own.

Couch was filthy not been cleaned full of crumbs dirt etc only noticed as dropped phone under . Overall the place was filthy and the cleaners definitely need sacked, such a shame as I said the view is gorgeous

What a terrific wee cottage, with an incredible view.

Everything you need for a kitchen was there and proper good quality stuff. The little extras of milk, tea bags, bread and biscuits was a welcome bonus. Alan was a very attentive host who was there if needed. Great space for 2 cars easily, if required. All the big supermarkets are within 5 miles. A fantastic charity shop called powerhouse is in the next village, just google, you'll find super bargains and very friendly volunteers. We'd loved to gave visited peterhead prison but unfortunately it was fully booked, I'd suggest a visit there. Fish and chip shops galore selling freshly caught fish. I'd highly recommend Bellas beach cottage any time.

The cottage is in a beautiful location and is very well presented and appointed.

It is also close to many local amenities and attractions. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in an idyllic and relaxing break. This is a perfect cottage for dog owners.

The cottage was warm and clean on arrival . We had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The beds and bedding were exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was nice to relax in the lounge after long days on the beach . What a beautiful spot and you couldn’t get closer to the beach ! We hope to return in the future

We had a wonderful stay at Bella's Cottage.

The cottage was warm and cozy and it was very comfortable. All facilities were as described and the rooms were well laid out and spotless. The area was quiet and peaceful with the beach literally on our doorstep. We requested that all perfumes be removed from the property as my partner is allergic to "parfum". This was done without any problem and the cottage was free of any strong scents. I would love to return to this cottage in the future.

Lovely house in a fab location, right next to the beach.

Well equipped house with everything you need. Comfy bed and sofa, nice after a day of walking. Shower could do with updating, poor water pressure. I was there in winter and the house was warm all day, lovely to return to after a cold walk on the beach. Garden is not fully secure so you do have to keep an eye dogs when they are outside. Overall a fab stay and great house, would definitely book again.

We were blessed beyond measures to find this little cottage on our favourite beach of 25 years.

Perfect in every way! The hospitality was immediately felt with every little touch in the warm, welcoming home from home atmosphere.

If you like the beach ,this cottage is ideal, we stayed Sept 24, weather was not so kind but wrapped up in beach, our dogs loved it.

This is the second time we have stayed on this street and again my only concern was a high bath to get into shower ,which might be an issue for older people .A downstairs shower room would make a huge difference. In saying all that we would recommend this cottage and will return. It was nice to meet the owner Alan who was friendly and helpful

Accommodation and facilities were fully acceptable.

The close proximity to a beautiful beach was the highlight of the stay. The owners were very helpful and approachable.

Brilliant location. Gorgeous beach and amazing wildlife. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Just love this unknown part of Scotland for getting away from it all.

Had a lovely time last week at bellas beach cottage ☺️ it is cosy clean and spacious everything you need and the views are amazing less than 1 minute walk to the beach and also a wee bench you can sit and have your morning cuppa
