Set on an idyllic farm near the Angus Glens in Noranside, Angus, is this delightful cottage of Gardener's Cottage.

Boasting ground-floor accommodation and set within easy reach of the rural delights of Angus, Gardener's Cottage is perfect for a couple seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of life.

After parking in one of the handy off-road spaces, take in the rural vista as you retire on the bench opposite the stone-built abode.

Wander inside to find an inviting living/dining room where you can curl up with your loved one in front of the woodburning stove as you watch your favourite show.

Progress through the property to the compact kitchen, where you can access a range of appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine and an electric cooker; making your self-catering stay a breeze.

Enjoy a romantic dinner for two next door; crack open a bottle of wine as you recount the day's adventures!

As the evening comes to an end, wander through to the double bedroom, a space enjoying views of the farmhouse, whilst boasting blue accents and storage for your belongings.

The bathroom has been finished to a high standard and makes for a stylish spot to get ready for the day in, with a fabulous bath and shower over.

The property has easy access to walking trails winding throughout the surrounding countryside and woodland, along with being at the base of the Angus Glens, meaning you can enjoy a day packed with excursions; why not reward yourself with a delicious meal at the nearby bar/restaurant of Drovers Inn?

Kirriemuir isn't far from the cottage and hosts all of your amenities in one place, including an array of eateries and shops, whilst also being the birthplace of JM Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, where you can also visit the Peter Pan Park and Statue; the town is also close to RSPB Scotland's Loch of Kinnordy, where you can enjoy and idyllic, lakeside stroll.

Wander east to Brechin, where you can board the renowned Caledonian Railway, tour the breathtaking Dalhousie Estates, and enjoy a picnic at Brechin Park.

The coastal city of Dundee and county town of Forfar are within easy reach and provide you with plenty of attractions to see and activities to do; you also have the rest of Cairngorms National Park waiting to be explored, so be sure to make the most of this beautiful part of Scotland.

For a break with your partner that you'll cherish forever, choose Gardener's Cottage.
