Seaview House

This property is great for our needs.

This is the second time we've visited whilst playing in a week long golfing competition. The Craws Nest Tassie. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is a great kitchen area and a large social space in the living room. The property is located very close to the heart of town, only 100m from the nearest supermarket and train station, and around a quarter to a third of a mile from the golf course. We go to the property as a group of adults each paying an equal share. If you plan to travel in a similar manner, you will be hard pushed to get a better property at this price.

We were a family of 8 adults and 4 children ( 3 under 7) so great location to play park / beach / crazy golf.

Big tarred area where kids played on scooters. Also as said in previous reviews it is very dated ( so if that’s important to you this isn’t the place. It worked for us that the place wasn’t pristine and state of the art decorations) Great big beds and en suite Well stocked kitchen . We used the hot tub which was lovely even in the rain and I used the sauna. We felt the price reflected the fact it was a bit tired.

Great property for our needs.

We were a large extended family celebrating an 80th birthday so the space and facilities were ideal. I do think a few things could improve the property. For example in our bedroom there was only a Venetian blind which (due to the shape of the window) didn’t keep much light out. Some of the wallpaper peeling in places too. But overall we had a great time.

Our family of twelve were here for a week at the end of April celebrating a 70th birthday and a golden wedding anniversary and had a brilliant time.

The property comfortably accommodated four families with ages from 7 to 70. The rooms were warm and spacious, the beds super comfortable and the common areas large and welcoming. The kitchen facilities are first class. We all enjoyed the garden and the hot tub was a total bonus. The property is close to the beach and golf course with beautiful walks and lovely bars and restaurants close by. The co-op a short walk away was greatly appreciated. Would not hesitate to return.

The house was just what we needed for a group of 10 friends.

Very spacious. Clean, well equipped with every thing we needed. Slightly tired, showers require up dating. Low water pressure and inconsistent temperature.

Great location in walking distance of beach, restaurants, shops etc, lovely beaches and coastal walks a short drive away.

For golfers the famous golf course nearby. The new owners are aware the house is a bit tired and needs some updating. We could have done with garden loungers and a barbecue . The whole family enjoyed the holiday very much

We enjoyed an excellent family weekend here.

We have experience of other houses but we voted this as the best, especially for the facilities. Our party of9 were easily accommodated within the 6 bedrooms. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the kids in particular loved the games room and the play station. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked and we dinned around the adequate table. There was good options around for a carry out or to dine in with the beach close. Further afield there are plenty of options for visits. We visited the water park and Lunan bay.

we had a slight problem in one of the bed rooms.

This matter was dealt with by the owner when notified of the issue. I do hope that this matter has been cleared up and does not affect other peoples stay at the retreat. in an other bedroom , the shower was not working properly and again the owner managed to resolve the matter on the day. Overall the stay was very relaxing.
