What guests are saying
With stunning views from the lounge and main bedroom, generous sized rooms and plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen, we had a comfortable week in this property.
But unfortunately there were a few problems, all of which have been mentioned before in reviews. As stated, the drive up is steep and twisty and negotiating the car park for this flat is tricky at night. The outside steps needed a good clean as they were very slippery in the wet. The bathroom radiator still leaks and the kitchen tap is very insecure. However, the property was clean and tidy and warm when we arrived.
Hi, since we had a real premium place to stay before, this one felt even shabbier.
For the same price. The house and appartement are really nice , but not in good shape. The wallpaint is rotten in some places , spiderwebs on the lamp, sticky shelves in the kitchen, not properly cleaned ( glastables , windows), garbage, when you look around the corner outside, overgrown garden , only the very fundamental dishes in the kitchen, no extra table in the kitchen, neither outside so you could sit there . One guest said, this place needs TLC urgently ! We also had a problem with the heating, which was fixed in the end. One should also know that the drive up is really steep and only for skilled drivers ! Well , all in all not again. The views are stunning , thats really positive.
The apartment is in dire need of some TLC.
Holes in walls, cobwebs everywhere, generally run down inside, wasn’t clean at all. Outside was a mess with rubbish and not well kept garden. Drive up is overgrown which scraped side of car everytime. We had no hot water or heating when arriving, figured out how to reset ourselves. To be fair I called the owners and they did call back an hour later but by then we had it working. Would expect this to all be checked before we arrived though. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend unfortunately not for the cost! Have noticed it has doubled in price for same time next year. Wouldn’t even rate this a 2 star stay.
